It's going to take me a while to catch up, but I'll get there in the next hour or so. I'm implementing the rankings, because I really like the idea.

I'm going to ask this one time and one time only: with rankings we open the door for people to troll/argue with each other. PM me if you think someone is totally full of BS or spamming crap decks, and we may address the issue, but I doubt it, because everyone has their own opinions and their own METAs that they play in. Let people think of themselves what they think of themselves. Or police them in the deck list threads themselves. But please, don't do it in here, you'd be doing me a favor if nothing else.

I want this list to be mostly good/great decks, but I don't want to stifle people's creativity either.

edit: and Deckbuilders, please try to be realistic - people won't want to challenge you, if you are honest about the decks themselves.

I'd say, the only build that's good enough is my good old Selesnya ramp deck.

Selesnya Ramp (Midrange/TIMMY : Gain life, draw cards, ramp to huge creatures. Overwhelm the opponent)

I can't use the deckbuilder right now, if someone was kind enough to recreate the deck using the deckbuilder and link it in the thread, I'll be very happy

Let me know if you wish to rate this deck (sorry about that, but it's a new thing we are adding to the list)

The Necromancer *** Powerful recursion deck with a subtheme of Spider Spawning and Lifegain.

The Reanimator ** Recursion deck with an emphasis on abusing Orge Battledriver with a subtheme of Spider Spawning.

The Undertaker * A recursion deck that is simply fun to play. Combines elements of The Necromancer and The Reanimator.

Let me know if there is anything else you need.

nice work DJ. I hope you will be able to do this for the new duels as well. only I have a feeling It will be a little more difficult if there's standard and legacy formats

Not really, I'd take one, and leave the other for someone else. If there are two formats, you can go ahead and bet money, I'll be playing legacy. Or for example no-restrictions. Or whatever. Expect me in the power decks category.

So I think I've got the framework built the way I'd do it. Does anyone have any suggestions, or requests? Are we all good with the way it's set up for now?

Btw, I'm thinking of test driving the tri-star decks for 10 games each online. If I find the time, I'll post the results. It may help determine a reasonable standard for what really should be listed as tri-star spike. If people are interested in doing so as well, I can keep a running tally next to those decks, adding the total record for each deck across multiple players (not counting the original builder).

Edit: I see this as having two functions. 1) it's a safe, non jerk-ish way to police the builds. 2) it gets people trying out other people's decks, which I believe is one of the main functions of this thread.

This is your best contribution to this site yet!

I'm still stewing on it. I'm going to try it out once (probably tonight), and I'll see if the time requirements are reasonable.

As far as help, if we do it at all, everyone would be welcome to test decks out - but I'll only count results from people other than the builder of the deck themselves. None of that, my deck wins 90% of the time garbage, which even I fail at at times. You just forget the bad games, or the losses from poor mana, or you ignore them because 'bad luck.' In the end you get the wrong impression of how the deck performs. Someone else can report real - actual - results.

It's fine. Just make sure you let me know, and I'll color them differently. This is mostly a list for 1v1. But I could - for example - use different colored stars to show that they are not 1v1 decks at a glance.

e.g.:

If they are unrated, it really doesn't matter, IMO. It will only matter if they are rated for FFA and people think the rating is for 1v1.

Although, what really ought to happen is a different thread altogether (I just don't know if there would be sufficient participants). /shrug. I don't want to over think for now. Just post the decks you wish to post, and we'll figure it out as go along.

Alright, here are my decks.... for 4ffa!

:g::r::b: Sac Attack ★★ Use self-sac cards likeBlasting Station to buff your own creatures and control the board.
:w::u::g::r::b: Infinite Warp World Ramp, heal and create more permanents for easy infinite Warp World. Also, trigger hell.
:w::u::b::r::g: 5 Color Toolbox ★★ Use all that each color has to offer in a way that benefits you. Lots of board control and fatties to play with.
