with 24 lands 2 ingots and 4 cultivates basically half your deck is land

and the reason I mention is both the satyr screwed me and then removal screwed and then Im on the floor with a giant discard pile and scooping

I won one game and that was because a packleader stuck then shivan dragon then siege dragon then hellkite and by that time it was a dragon party on my side of the board

on a side note I do like dragons, one of the reasons I got back into paper is because Khans has dragons :p

I think any dragon decks built in the next week or two should just be called Season Five.

The deck appears to be illegal in 9 countries. It's also made with real bits of panther so you know it's good.

hmmmm wait...on second glance....it appears to be a used diaper filled with Indian food and smells like big foot's ..... oh you get the movie references! :D

Playing this land destruction deck made me realise how scary cheap land destruction would be. Sinkholes and Wastelands would cause so many ragequits.

Even Stone Rain, Pillage, Creeping Mold, Thermokarst, and Plow Under. Add in some decent low-cost removal and low-cost/high-value creatures and you have a hell of a mean deck there.

While I loved playing land destruction, it really shifted the meta to either really fast weenie decks with a low curve or fast combo decks...glad they got rid of it overall. Can't imagine trying to cast an Eldrazi back then.

Yeah, I've faced Strip Mine + Rings of Brighthearth for 6 in EDH with an Avenger of Zendikar in hand. Manly tears were shed.

Today i thought, how fun would it be to have Quest for the Goblin Lord and Beastmaster Ascension in one deck. (and maybe even Doubling Season)
So here is my first try for this Deck:

[manapie 90 -w -u -b r g][/manapie]

Gruul GoblinMaster

A deck for Magic 2015.

60 Cards (18 :creature: , 19 :instant: , 23 :land:)

Color 29 cards
■■■■
Foundry Street Denizen1/1
■■■■
Goblin Arsonist1/1
■■■■
Goblin Bushwhacker1/1
■■■
Quest for the Goblin Lord
■■■■
Goblin Shortcutter2/1
■■■■
Krenko's Command
■■
Goblin Rabblemaster2/2
■■■■
Raid Bombardment
Color 8 cards
■■
Beastmaster Ascension
■■■■
Cultivate
■■
Doubling Season
Colorless23 cards
■■■■
Gruul Guildgate
7
Forest
12
Mountain

What do you think?

Not sure if Doubling Season isn't a waste and then also Cultivate.

Other options maybe:
Coordinated Assault
Trumpet Blast
Shock
Ground Assault
or just less mana

edit: - 2 Forest
+ 2 Coordinated Assault

What's the point of cultivate here ?
You have nothing to ramp for.

Quest for the Goblin Lord and Raid Bombardment can end up being a nonbo. It may be best to pick one route and go that way. I also agree with you on doubling season and would go with one of your 'other options' like Coordinated Assault or some sort of removal.

It was just like.. hey green color deck lets put cultivate in it ^^
but it can be really helpful sometimes, also without having cultivate, doubling season would be probably never come in to play.

yeah i thought about this a long time and I was about to remove raid bombardment, but there were so much situtation where it was very useful.

Hi -

Would like to share the following red/green deck (premium) I've constructed (total 60 cards). Found it to be well rounded and have had a lot of fun with it (winning of course)!

For The Win

3 x Shock
4 x Kiln Fiend
2 x Anger of the Gods
2 x Marauding Maulhorn
1 x Inferno Titan
1 x Charmbreaker Devils
1 x Warstorm Surge
1 x Utvara Hellkite

2x Prey Upon
1x Naturalize
1x Triumph of Ferocity
4x Advocate of the Beast
1x Aura Gnarlid
2x Cultivate
2x Mold Shambler
2x Hunter's Prowess
1x Garruk's Packleader
1x Beacon Behemoth
1x Terra Stomper

3x Ground Assult

8x Mountain
8x Forest
3x Jungle Shrine
4x Gruul Guildgate

Here are a few highlights:
--- Using the Cultivate together with Kiln Fiend (if opponent is open, deal 4 damages  in addition to ramping!)
--- Pumping Kiln Fiend and other beasts with Advocate of the Beast. Turns these earlier Kiln Fiend cards into late game cards against larger creatures. Also, when my beasts are pumped up to 4 or greater, have used Anger of the Gods, a sort of unexpected curve ball, to clear the board.
--- A lot of card drawing potential, especially with Hunter's Prowess
--- More damage dealing with Warstorm Surge, and very scary in conjunction with Utvara Hellkite :takei:
--- Marauding Maulhorn is synergetic with Advocate of the Beast
--- Other permanent destroying cards to handle flying, enchantments, and other threats.

Take care!

Tried this deck out and it's really, really good! Pulled some cool combos: my fav is using Tectonic Rift and then attacking with Goblin Rabblemaster.
