Jack, put any deck discussion threads under Magic General/ Constructed, so they are in one space and can be easily found and migrated to our sub-forum when it comes

So I did all of the decks for Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013. All 21. Here they are:

I figured that they could be copied and pasted into separate threads later, but for now, we don't have our own subforum. At least they are currently in a format that won't take another 2.5 hours to move around.

I couldn't really justify creating 21 new threads and basically taking over the entire first page in the constructed section. There is already a little trouble convincing people to join the forum due to earlier reactions to dotp here........ I don't think 36 new threads would garner a reaction we would want to garner from the main forum body.

On the plus side, this is another reason to justify a subforum.

edit: also I didn't see devil's post until after I did all the lists, and separating them is not a task I can do last night or now. I am legitimately worried about people getting upset at too many threads in a main forum though.

ok, Now that I've provided one poster with assistance:

DoTP isn't a kid's game although it does get kids more into it. The fact that it is limited as to what can be played is actually a challenge. You don't have to whip out the ole' pocketbook and shell out good hard earned money for cards as in the card game or mtgo. No, you have to make the best of what you have. It evens the playing field and encourages you to try harder. Players are more than willing to help too as witness the influx of us from the other forum.

I can say without any doubt, that I've played more than anyone else. I playtest and playtest and test some more. I find hidden gems that other players immediately dismiss. Most dismiss them due to the same things you see on Mtgo or card discussions. They don't get the maximum use out of such cards.

Yes, you'll find some subpar competition at times, but you'll also find some great minds at work.

I also played MTG Tactics(it's recently been given it's death notice which will happen March of next year). I would find card players who considered themselves experts come in and get totally annihilated. Why? They were stuck in the "buy a solution" mode. They found themselves paying more attention and getting better by using their cards to the fullest. That's the same thing DoTP of any version does for a player. It will improve your game. You will no longer dismiss cards as useless automatically but see a lot more options that others don't.

It's a small investment but worthy of your time and money. If you do, and have problems adapting, well, We're here now to provide that help. The regulars of this game.

Jack, before we go posting mega in constructed I think it should be mainly about 2014 at the moment. Not nearly as many decks to discuss so as to not take up so many threads.
When we get a sub-forum we can start creating separate threads for 2013 stuff. I do not want to step on any toes getting established here.

Hopefully we just get our own subforum and can do our thing. Then people are free to lurk and read, and if they get interested then its a win. Anyone we have to convince that this is a valid game, probably isnt going to have much to bring to the table, for this format.

News just in. Its coming out next week (between November 5th-7th depending on platform (X-Box TBA)). The decks included are;

Unfinished Business - a U/B deck based on graveyard manipulation and recursion effects.

and

Bounce and Boon - an at-the-moment-unannounced coloured deck focusing on ETB effects and battlefield manipulation (so read: ETB and self-bounce). Mostly likely U/W but that's just theory.

After receiving the ban the other day for nothing really other than asking a strongly worded question I just got fed up.
I had already joined here and had asked about having our own sub-forum.
