I don't find third voting such a mafia act. If the third is always mafia, we will be having an easier time. That aside, I just assume that when people don't state reasons, it meant that he or she agrees with the already given pov.

It's not just the third vote, it's that coupled with no explained reason for the vote.

Of course it's not always the third vote in that's scum, but on the first day, this early in, without any text, it's good enough for me, for now.

Dropping a third vote this early in day 1 seems like someone trying to get a quick lynch, without any discussion that people could look back on later in the game.

I voted for the third vote on a bandwagon that is at least partially built around the lynch candidate being the third vote in the other bandwagon. He voted for Lilan (whose case is primarily built around being the third vote) without providing a strong reason and then—after submitting his first post—said, "I don't find that third vote particularly scummy" having realized that he too was the third vote and the case that could be made for Lilan could just as easily be made for him.

His post even flip-flopped between voting for rag, then saying in the next line that he could see reasons for voting for amber, then in the next line saying, "I'm waiting until some more lurkers post before thinking too much about who is scum."

While these three statements seem pretty innocuous on their own, combined they paint the picture of a man trying to cover all his bases and refusing to commit to his standpoint. While my case does have an element of satire to it, I'm fairly comfortable with where my vote lies.

Lilian's vote is insightful as it has caused many to give their opinions on it. Already two people, Pariah and someone whose name I do not recall, have indirectly defended Lilian's vote. Or, to be more accurate, defended against the idea she might be scum due to being the third vote on Ambar's "wagon".

Originally I wrote something up to disagree with Fred about saying Rubik has done the most scummy thing (although this is a matter of perspective) when compared to, for example, Pariah who has offered similar types of posts. That is, Pariah has offered general knowledge-like posts along with, I believe, one garbage post (contains nothing of relevance). So, in a nutshell, I see what you saying Fred, but I also see that same kind of behavior in other players (mainly Pariah).
