Choose one is a mechanic unique to druids. It's like you wouldn't see combo showing up on a warlock card and it's highly unlikely that warriors are going to get a **** load of demon synergy any time soon.

It's only class specific at the moment and extremely lacking in flavor, so too bad.

druids are shapeshifters in the game, they probably wanted to reinforce that by giving them choices with their spells and minions

I was thinking of ways to expand Hearthstone design space and wondered about slime, which fills up a board and costs 2 mana per square to get rid of.









I don't know anything at all about Hearthstone's flavour, so these probably make no sense at all from a Lore perspective.

flash heal is really annoying in pvp because you use all your slime on the enemy priest and they just fear you and get rid of all of it before you're unstunned

Kil' ruk seems absurd to me; I'm not sure any card should be able to deal 14 damage from nowhere, let alone with additional upside. Rik'kal also looks very, very strong, maybe even with the word "friendly" added before "minion" but definitely without it. Is there a reason why Kovok doesn't just summon an Ironbark Protector?

You are right that kil'ruk is busted. I might remove windfury or drop his attack by two and then maybe increase his health by one. As a neutral kill spell Rik'kal probably is too good. I think changing it to hit only friendly minions is probably reasonable. if its pushing it too much increasing the cost by one or shrinking Rik'kal's body a little would probably work.
