This is my take on a blue mill deck, but is kind of meh... any suggestions?

To be honest with you, I don't think Mill is a very good plan in this current meta. What with the availability and frequency of so many outs (Elixir, Cozy Leg, and now Colossus) and so many decent-good Self-Mill decks we have running around (where you are often just helping them to gain value or quickly power out big threats).

That said, if you are going to try and make Mill a thing, I think you pretty much HAVE to run for Suffer the Past, it is the only real viable out to these sorts of anti-mill cards, as well as sniping high value targets against the Self-Mill matchups.

Esper may be an interesting option as well. It would open up some stuff like Wall of Omens to give you some more early defense/draw and would give you more Defenders for Doorkeeper. Would also allow you to run Angelic Edict which gives you another out for resolved bombs, and would be another permanent answer to Colossus/Cozy Leg (assuming they are resolved first).

Ah yes, I would never try a mill deck especially mono blue online. This is just a divertissement of mine, trying to create the best milling deck with the terrible cards we are given! :-D

Eon posts a pretty sophomoric build and then Elk posts a far better build on his own. Eon then says, "great minds think alike!" and at this point if I'm Elk, I'd probably insta-delete my build assuming it must be far worse than I thought it was if Eon is equating the two. Then I'd look at firebead's build on the following page and feel better about my life.

...ok, so you're trying to Doorkeeper with Bracers which gave me lots of success last night against random players. The thing is, you don't have enough Defenders for this to be really effective. I think you're going to need to get out of mono-blue and go American Jeskai or something (adding Red and White). Adding Coral Barriers, Wall of Omens, Vent Sentinels and counterspells GALORE since a single Elixir of Immortality can ruin your day. I don't know if you have a solution against Kozilek tho. I don't think it's worth stuffing in Exile spells just for him. I think instead, if he is present, you will use Vent Sentinel as your win-con.

I don't know if you want to alternatively self-mill with the Lab Maniac instead...

Well, to be fair, I never said the deck I posted was great. I was just tooling around with the idea of Devotion. Which is what Elk was doing.

As for you and Beast and your Xbone, I can happily say no, I am not jealous. I will be getting a PS4 anyways when I finally go decide to buy one of the next gen consoles.
