Will there be a place for fishing in the town? In some other editions, the material components for a Floating Disk is mercury. Find a couple mid-sized fish and you can extract enough mercury as well as have some food... oh, and how much is a pound of salt? I'll be needing that too, and I didn't see it on the lists....

From what I can tell in 4E, you dont actually have to buy the mercury, salt, etc to preform the ritual like previous versions. It simply states the the components to cast it would take you 10 gold to acquire. I'm newish to 4E so I will do more research into it...I'm not sure how it would handle actually trying to acquire the materials on your own.

4E tends to handwave the process of collecting material components. It basically boils down to "If you have the gold, you should be able to acquire what you need in town without any hassle".

The salt was actually for food so I can prep my own trail rations from hunting.

I am not sure how to copy from the Builder, so:

Helja-Falkunn Ridhalreight, Dwarf Shaman
Init +0 HP 28/28 Bloodied 14 Healing Surge 7 (0 used/10)
AC 14 Fort 14 Reflex 12 Will 15 Speed 5
Str 11 (0) Con 16 (+3) Dex 10 (0) Int 14 (+2) Wis 18 (+4) Cha 10 (0)

Background: Born in tragedy, Helja-Falkunn Ridhalreight bears the name of her mother and the would-be name of her twin sister, both of whom died in childbirth. Treated as painful burden by her family and a child of misfortune by everyone else, Helja-Falkunn found a place by making herself invaluable as a midwife in adulthood. Her names were spoken with gratitude. But when one of her wards died in childbirth, the whispers were even worse than in her youth. People spoke about how she seemed to avoid religious services, how she is sometimes seen speaking to the air and a dark figure sometimes stands besides her reflection. Helja-Falkunn decided to head off whatever was coming to a boil by slipping away in the night.

Helja-Falkunn set out from the mountain homes of her ancestors, her warrior mother's axe resting on her shoulder and the spirits walking besides her. She found new friends, people who relied on her and she could rely on, and she found new guidance as she finally began to embrace the spirits around her and she found new paths. Perhaps she will even find a new name.

Okay, I think I have everything done. I've filled in everything I can, and even added in some fairly vague backstory. I copied it here as well, can you let me know if it is acceptable for your world, Bounty Hunter? Heh, I even finally managed to name him.

Backstory:
Spoiler

Edit: I really wanted to keep him "Unaligned," which I'm guessing pretty much means Neutral. Got harder as I wrote his story since I pictured him in a Fire Tower... they're so damn Chaotic... maybe that's why he moved out. I dunno.... don't mind me.

I dunno. The way it was explained to me by a friend who DMs was that modules take place in a specific world made by Wizards of the Coast. I never know how they do things. I came from playing custom worlds built in 3.5 and Pathfinder.

Yeah, but I've got too much going on to even find time to make a character, and I hate being the person people are waiting on in a game. Maybe next time.

I wouldn't mind joining...
I'll start working on a character

What kind of class would you guys want me to be? I notice no rogue, so I'll start that route unless mentioned otherwise.

I'm an expert 4E DM. I can quote rules without glancing at the books. I used to run 4 separate games weekly of 4e for like 9 months straight. If you need any help I offer my assistance.

You DO need to acquire components to do rituals. This is specified in the Player's Handbook. But it is an easy thing to ignore if you want to ignore it. I gave my players a trans-dimensional shop for mundane objects that they could carry around with them in their pockets for stuff like this.

Freddeh has declined, due to scheduling issues.

Please take that huge image out of your sig, its spamming the page everywhere you post.

I welcome a rogue, love playing them myself. That would leave the final slot to some sort of healer, or controller, though i wouldnt turn down a ranged class of any particular sorts.

Then I too will drop. :(

But if you need my help with 4E rules that offer still stands.

I ask this every time I start pulling together an equipment list... but do I need clothes?
What is the penalty for traversing naked?

Am I ignored? Imprisoned? Shied away from? On the other hand, do creatures avoid me in combat? etc.
Please and thank you!
