I honestly don't think that's that bad a deck, it beats non-wasteland chancellor and all the foil decks.

Any Legendary Eldrazi would beat the Foil deck. Even Kozilek, despite being the worst choice by far.

I don't really think Foil is the deck to beat, especially because you can just tie it to keep it's points down and still crush all the Channex variants. That's why I think Desert is stronger than Wasteland here.

Desert auto-ties Foil while still providing you your wincon vs. Channex. No variant of Channex is stronger against Desert than Wasteland, at worst they perform equally, but there are several variations Desert is the better choice against. The right wincon (I think we all know who we're talking about, although I can think of three good ones) means you don't even need to worry about blowing up Cathedral.

Those same wincons are highly competitive against the rest of the field.

Edit: Ok, there is one Channex variant that's better against Desert than Wasteland, and I can only think of one version that beats Wasteland and not Desert. The rest of the variants seem to give the same amount of points regardless of which land is chosen.

It has a creature and it has the land to play it, so it will win vs 3 blank cards, at least.

Yeah, Jim takes resubmits. I do it just about every round (I haven't yet this round! I'll stick by my pile of garbage!)

You can turn in as many decks as you want up to deadline, Jim only takes the most recent one.

@POS: Why not just Lotus-Lotus-Three drop? or Gut Shot-Lotus-Three Drop?

Because Revival is like standing up to a bully. Even if they take your lunch money, youre getting it back. The other cards just ignore the bully.

I thought Inkmoth/Cathedral couldn't win until turn 7. Inkmoth has summoning sickness, and Cathedral EtB tapped, so how do you attack before round 3?

Round 2 is going to be so much fun fun fun. The aftermath of round 1 is going to drive people nuts.
