In the WotC forums I would often simply post threads with one or two random card ideas on and let them simmer. Upon inspection I see that that doesn't happen very often in NGA so I've decided to create my own thread specifically for various random cards which I summon. These cards aren't for any set so I will leave out rarities (also, don't expect to see any link between them).
Here's some:

Stratovolcano
Creature - Elemental Incarnation
~ enters the battlefield tapped.
At the beginning of your upkeep put a 1/1 red elemental creature token with deathtouch named Lava onto the battlefield. It gains haste.
At the beginning of your end step, sacrifice each creature you control named Lava. For each creature sacrificed this way, you may put up to one +1/+1 counter on ~.

Stratovolcano - as red as this is, there's almost never a reason to put quadruple colored symbols in a card's casting cost. It either has to be really, really powerful or you have to really, really not want other colors to be able to play it. That's a really cool ability though. Actually calling the tokens "Lava" is flavourful but I don't know if it's beter than just having him sacrifice elemtnatl tokens or other red elementals or something.

I got class comming up so I guess there's no time to do the others.

Since when did red ever get deathtouch?

Since I gave it deathtouch. A while ago there was a thread in the WotC forum about giving red creatures deathtouch and it was sort of decided that a lava style elemental thing would be most flavourful. I feel that these sort of Geodudes in red are apt in both flavour in function.
