How has grave born muse been? Do you ever miss not having shock?

I am not a fan of the 5 drop creatures. Against all of the control decks they die with little to no impact.

Against the decks where Shock is good you just go bigger or wipe them with Anger. Resounding Thunder is fine to pick off utility creatures like Mentors or whatever. Graveborn Muse is an extra card every turn and the body is decent, I play her whenever I can. And I don't think there's enough dedicated control in the metagame to worry about it plus there's Sheoldred and Treasured Find. Colossus adds to the deck's removal suite and is just huge. Stormbreath is Stormbreath, pro-white is extremely relevant.

Ok I will test without shock later. I will try 2 graveborn and 1stormbreath. I still prefer banefire over colossus though.

Banefire is solid but you already have four Thunders to fill that role so I'm not sure you need more. Colossus is really strong, reach is key, because he bricks all of the big fliers that are played in this metagame. Stopping Baneslayers, Stormbreaths, and the entire Demon package is great, and he is good against Armored Ascension as well if you can activate his ability before you get clocked too hard. Once he's monstrous, he shuts the door on Terra Stompers, Pelakka Wurms, and the occasional weirdo playing Fusion Elemental, too. He is an underplayed card IMO. Keep him in the back of your mind whenever you draw those Banefires.

Will do, I just seem to be playing against a lot of control decks with lots of removal and counters. I have found having the 6 uncounterable burn spells turn that matchup in your favour.

Hey I resemble that remark!

Looks like I need to brew a Fusion Elemental deck ;)

I can't help but feel that grisel is the better card in your list though hakeem. He is bigger, he is evasive and you can potentially use his ability as soon as he hits the table, and he is slightly harder to remove/take down. Don't get me wrong I deff know the value in whisperer but I don't think he trumps Grisel in every deck.

This deck has Wayfinders, and double-black is much smoother than quad-black. Plus it's more removal. It's better in this list.

I have to echo this. Also in abzan lifegain you can often draw at least 7 cards sometimes 14 without the need to swing. In Jund you tend to take a few hits before stabilising, in a lot of games Griselbrand's ability would not be relevant and Sheoldred is a lot better than a 7/7 lifelink for 8.

I find Sheoldred is a card I want to draw every game. In my opinion it is the reason to add black. Without it straight green red is probably better.

Mold Shambler seems like a poor choice over reclamation sage, especially with Sheoldred. I am not a fan of ingot either, cultivate and wayfinder are enough in my opinion.

Sheoldred is an allstar TBH. I'm finding a lot of "Creepy doll + armored ascension" combos in mono white that would otherwise have won until Sheoldred hits the field against this deck.

I like that Shambler triggers Packleader and can occasionally manascrew someone.
The most likely scenario is getting it with a Demon, so the mana is not an issue at that point.

I don't like Wayfinder if it's just a manafixer, as you are in no way guaranteed the color you're missing.
Not a fan of Ingot either, but otherwise the mana is pretty bad and I don't want a million gates.
It also ramps from 3 to 5 which is important in this deck. Plus I like surprising people with a T3 Ingot into Shock.

To be honest I don't like packleader here either there all the cards that trigger it already have value. Adding a 4/4 for 5 does not seem with the trouble.

I agree, there are only 16 creatures total with power three or greater in this deck and that includes the three Packleaders. He will be pretty vanilla here most of the time, I think.

About Wayfinder, he's not just a mana-fixer, he's a Sheoldred enabler and if you're running Treasured Find with him (which you should) then he really adds a lot to the deck.

I don't want to sound like a broken record LegenVD, but as has been said many times, these decks are largely not a representation of the metagame and the ones that are have a lot of optimisation issues, as has also been pointed out many times.

If you really want to make a video series that people care about, pick 16 optimised decks from the forums that are based on decks people actually play online and are built and tested to destruction.

Otherwise, I, and I suspect many others, will fail to see the point. As the builds currently stand, I really see no purpose in tuning in to see 16 poorly optimised decks of questionable popularity duke it out.

I'm sorry if that sounds harsh, but that's the way I feel.

I wanted to make a weird Jund Token deck so I did with some help from my bud Megabeast and I was wondering what you guys thought of it and if any changes could be made.
[manapie 90 -w -u b r g][/manapie]

Jund Tokens

A one vs. one deck for Magic 2015.

60 Cards (14 :creature: , 23 :instant: , 23 :land:)

Multicolored10 cards
■■■
Ground Assault
■■■
Auger Spree
■■■
Sprouting Thrinax3/3
Kresh the Bloodbraided3/3
Color 2 cards
■■
Quest for the Gravelord
Color 13 cards
■■■■
Krenko's Command
■■■
Young Pyromancer2/1
■■
Ogre Battledriver3/3
■■■
Thorn-Thrash Viashino2/2
Banefire
Color 10 cards
■■■
Cultivate
■■
Spore Burst
■■
Doubling Season
■■
Hunter's Prowess
■■
Mycoloth4/4
Colorless25 cards
■■
Blasting Station
■■■■
Golgari Guildgate
■■■■
Gruul Guildgate
■■■■
Rakdos Guildgate
■■■
Savage Lands
5
Forest
6
Mountain
3
Swamp

I initially had all 3 blasting stations but was sick of having two of them in my hand so I subbed in a spore burst for more tokens. The deck has reach with the blasting station and the potential to have a huge Kresh or devour creature, let me know what you all think.

Merc!!! Welcome to NGA! It's about time!

As far as the build goes.. how has that singleton Spore Burst been treating you? Have you drawn it yet? Did you feel it was a good value? I haven't played the card so I don't know. It looks bad at first glance though. I don't know what I'd trade for it.. maybe Sheoldred? Bring back a Thrinax, sac it to Blasting Station, shoot 4 damage to the face? Sheoldred with Ogre Battledriver on the field could be pretty sick I imagine.
