I'm trying to post a new thread, and each time I hit submit it deletes my whole message tells me my post has too few characters.

I've tried it in multiple browsers. it's a very long post, so maybe that's messing with things? I checked and it's not over what I recall the character limit to be though. I've done tests and it let me preview other messages (didn't post them to avoid spamming, but preview wasn't working either) so it's something specific to this post.

:duel:

PS: I broke it up into two parts and each part worked fine, so I just posted both of them, so problem solved I guess. still weird though.

I think it's a nameserver issue:

[rna_test] hitz@rye:~/Documents/workspace/dxencode$ nslookup www.nogoblinsallowed.com
Server: 192.168.1.1
Address: 192.168.1.1#53

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: www.nogoblinsallowed.com
Address: 173.236.228.114
Name: www.nogoblinsallowed.com
Address: 173.236.146.248

[rna_test] hitz@rye:~/Documents/workspace/dxencode$ nslookup forum.nogoblinsallowed.com
Server: 192.168.1.1

.228.114 doesn't work (Dreamcast error), but .146.248 works.

That will be $50 consulting free. But I'll waive it 'cause you guys are cool.

I've been getting the following tonight on Chrome :

Site Not Found
Well, this is awkward. The site you're looking for is not here.

Sorry about the redirect troubles. While fixing other things up I tried to move from an .htaccess redirect to Dreamhost's automatic forwarding (which I think is DNS-based). Evidently it doesn't work as I expected. We're back to the original redirect method now (except better! hopefully). Please continue to let us know if you're having troubles.

Which mods were turned off, out of curiosity?

A staff-only thing no one used, and two that were exploratory. In other words, nothing anyone should notice missing. :)

Cool. The redirect is working now!

At first, I was getting the same DreamHost page, but I just needed to clear the browser cache.

The razorambling filter has been deployed successfully then.

Actually, Barinellos and I both had problems posting his dossier for Phostus in full, to the point that I had to re-do all of the spoiler blocks as headings in order to make it work. I still have no idea why this was the case.

For the last two days or so I've noticed that I've stopped receiving emails upon getting a pm. I just went to re-do the "Notify by email~" setting in my control panel, but I can't say whether that will actually work since it still jumps back to "No" no matter what I do.

EDIT: and literally minutes after I post this it seems to be working again.

Trace shows up as a card other than actual Trace for me. Raze does the same thing.

Ac

Educated guess is that it takes the alphabetically first card that contains the word in its name, although the only reason I can see for it working that way would be if Welder wanted to reuse code from the card searcher.

Autocard images are currently not working for me. Squire.

Maybe the site that we use for that is just down temporarily, but I figured I'd bring it up the issue just in case.

Yep, looks like they caught a cease-and-desist from Wizards. I guess I'll be switching back to Gatherer and its poor-resolution images...

Wow, seriously?

That's... ridiculously, offensively anti-Fair Use.

Ugh, Wizards is such a garbage company when it comes to Fair Use.

Wizards is owned by Hasbro. Hasbro is very non-lenient when it comes to Fair Use.

Probably just because Gatherer is down for maintenance. They'll come back as soon as Gatherer does.

On topic: when I posted just now it double-posted for some reason. I don't know why but it was an exact duplicate with the same post time. It was here, but I soft-deleted the extra post for cleanliness. I don't know if mods can see soft-deleted posts, but it's right after that one.

I thought that was part of the reason we had switched originally? Dang Wizards.
