The dwarf reached out a hand, unsure if he should greet the half-orc as one of the guild, but went with his gut on it. "Norston. Marcus refered us to this place. Looking to get myself some nice hunter's clothes. Tough hide if you've got it," And he pointed over his shoulder. "And he was looking for what was it, a specialized scribe's kit?"

Jacobs pulls out a small black book from under the counter and writes in it before speaking "It will be ready for pick up in a few hours at Demon's Run. "

What other tasks can you think of that we might need to complete before going there, Norston? Do you want to go look at the area while we are waiting or do something else?

Lomendil turned to face the dwarf once the transaction was concluded and prepared to go to whatever area was chosen.

He considered it for the time of two seconds and said, "Let's go sight-seeing," It wasn't as if they had anything better to do at the moment and it never hurt to case the location before getting started. "Thanks for your help," Norston said mid walk.

Lomendil looked around to see if any guards or other persons were in sight:

Hmm, so what if anything do you think we should do now? Pick the lock and walk in? Climb the wall with you throwing me a rope?

You can't see inside due to how far it is form the wall, but as far as you can tell there's no one else on the street.

Huge house. Don't think I'll ever need one that big. Well maybe if I get to much I can carry... Was what Norston was thinking before Lomendil brought him back to reality. "You want to get in now? I wasn't thinking along those lines earlier," He looks through the gate and considers an improvised snooping.

He grunts, "Least I have my rope with me," He tried to pick up any footsteps or voices that didn't belong to either of them. "Keep your trick handy,"

Lomendil checked all of his gear quickly and smiled as approached the wall carefully and started looking for any clues of traps, whether magical or mundane. He suspected there might be some form of protection on such an estate and he wanted to know what they would have to avoid. This was most definitely spur of the moment but it was possible it would work. As he waited he decided he really should add a grappling hook to his pack sometime, the question was what to remove.

Norston quickly and easily climbs the wall, you don't see or detect any traps as you scale the wall.

"They can't say we won't take initiative. Come on," Norston says lowering the rope down to Lomendil. Sitting atop a fence was not how he wished to be caught, better yet not at all if he could keep from it. But the job had requirements and this one involved a little sneaking around, even if they weren't getting what they were after quite yet.

Wonder if the guild has a take on pinched goods while on the job? ...Better not dwell on that too much. Now is a little spy job.

Lomendil quickly climbed up the rope as well and then swings off the other side and dropped inside. As soon as he was inside, he ducked over behind the trees and then prepared to head up towards the house.

Norston followed Lomendil down and over behind the trees. "Sure. Just not the kitchen or the front door. Place is quiet though," He looked over at the place and made his way quickly towards one of the walls. "Someone spots us, we're supposed to be here,"

Window or side entrance or cellar or roof it is. As far as being supposed to be here goes, we were called in to ensure that the roof is good since there was a concern about it leaking. Obviously we weren't but we try and give the impression we got called in for less than legal business by him and the less said the better. You do the talking, I stay quiet.

Lomendil briefly whispered to Norston in agreement and then followed him up to the building looking for any open or openable windows or side doors or cellar entrances. He preferred to leave the roofs as a last resort. As it was he continued to use the trees as much as possible while heading up to and circling the house looking for entry.
