You see, Mari feels trapped in her false form (The Manacles), which is causing her to bottle up her emotions (the inverted Tempest). The Knight, in this case, likely represents her external emotional "armor," and her unwillingness to open up to others. The Pond usually represents a calm, pastoral scene, but inverted like this, it likely represents Mari being throw out or expelled from such a place.
The Statue leads from the Manacles, showing a lack of action to free herself, probably out of fear of the risks involved. The inverted Huntress leading from the inverted Tempest indicates that her bottled up emotions are started to prey on her, and the Horse from the knight is clearly a representation of her true form. The inverted Smith from the inverted Pond shows that Mari must forge her own path back there (had the Smith not been inverted, she would have to move on, but in its inverted state on the spoke, it shows that the backwards path is both possible and preferable.
The inverted Shapeshifter as the destination shows that Mari wants to find a single form, rather than being forced to alter hers. The Field card, especially in the Fate Card position, usually represents a wide variety of opportunity and many possible paths to take, but inverted, it likely means that while there seem to be many options, only one is really true. This likely reference's Mari's desire to go home.
