Interesting. Out of curiosity, what would happen in the unlikely event that, say, a vampire were to attempt to feed on an angel?

To use the familiar vernacular:
It'd be like biting into the sun.

I dig the angels quite a lot. In particular I like the image of them sort of flocking in the wake of the Aurora like sea birds following the tides...

But...ICE WORLD has no sun...

That's why I said to use the familiar vernacular.
As in familiar to us.

Well, since we already had the Arelheim angels, I decided to swerve away from a warrioresque culture to distinguish them from the other.
I also kind of liked the migratory effect they seemed to have, though I've left a lot of that up to interpretation. Even if they fly out of the aurora together, they don't really seem to stay together.

Is it really bad that I want to find some way to make the number 11 relevant to the elves?

So, after much reflection and consideration, I think I have finally found a handle to hang upon this world.
I, as of this post, officially bestow a name to this world.

From this point on, Ice World will be known as Lania.

I like it.

Also, CAN you make 11 significant to elves? It'd make an arbitrary hook around which anthologies might be built or cards could be designed... ;)

I like it.
I kept fretting it was too short, but it has a fluid, sort of neutral phonetic structure that can be anchored in various places.
Though also, I kind of want to keep an appellation amongst walkers.
Like, never just "Lania" but "Lania, the Frozen".

It is also amusing because "elf" is 11 in german. Something that I am occasionally reminded of.
And I'd like to make the idea work, but I'm sort of at a loss for how.

Maybe if someone wrote a story. (I would, but I already have like 11 plot threads spread out right now. I just don't have it in me.)

It's the elven conspiracy. The pointy ear Illuminati at work.
