With a quick glance around, Henleber also steps through the arch after him. As he does so, he extends a sword a few feet in front of him as he goes and then withdraws it to check if the way seems safe.

"Hrmph." Graydon grunts. "Anybody got a light?"

Henleber looked around the room:

I for one am uncomfortable here and more so not knowing this area. Can you check if you feel any traps and do you have any magical ways of doing so?

He reached into his bag and pulled out some slingstones which he promptly started launching at the floor ahead and then cautiously followed if it appeared it didn't set anything off. When he reached the tunnel, he started thoroughly examining it for traps.

Thibor Cruxholder

One shadow passes right in front of Thibor while he is considering the implications of his new experiment. He's not sure what happened, maybe someone returned, because he clearly saw two shadows pass in his front. The important Quinn and Agammenon... No that doesn't sound right... The interesting Quinn and Agammennon... Not right again... The useless Quinn and Agammenon... Close, but not right yet. Well instead of deciding the best word to describe his companion, he thinks it is more important to discover who survived. He steps into the portal once again.

"Gracious!" Graydon says, stepping forward to examine the statue. "That is some amazing stonework!" He inspects closer, hoping to reveal something about the statue, loosely holding his spear in hand in the event that this eerie tomb actually has enemies in it.

Thibor Cruxholder

Thibor conjures his holy lantern once more to see his surroundings before he even starts to breath.

You do not happen to have any magic rings do you? If so, now would be a very good time to reveal it.

Henleber winced as he realized he did not and wished he had one with him right now.

"Why do you ask?" Graydon says.

"Hrmph!" Graydon grunts. He eyes the fallen arm, and wonders if placing his ring in the slot will end with something like, say, a gargoyle hand closing down on it and making him lose it forever. Still, the riches of the tomb are enticing... "Very well," he says, removing his ring and placing it in the gargoyle's palm-slot.

"Argh! This situation is more stinky than an orc's armpit. I, Thibor Cruxholder, was defeated by a mere portal." Thibor says exasperated while he walks in circles for some time without knowing what to do.

"If I cannot win, a tie is the best answer. I guess I will just wait here for the others." He finally says after cooling his head, and sits, removing his journal from his backpack. "And after the end of the devilish corridor, Thibor finds the evil portal of doom. A force so evil that even the mightiest defender of good had to retreat against the powerful and deadlier attacks..."

Well, it seems that was not the answer.

To satisfy his curiosity, Henleber tries placing a platinum coin into each of the open palms and then picks up the arm off the floor to see if there is anything in the palm.

Graydon slips his ring back onto his finger and eyes the tunnel warily. He picks up the gargoyle arm and inspects it, then sees how it fits into the shoulder socket. "I never thought I'd say this, but I kinda miss that dwarf."

Thibor just continues to sit and write at his journal.
