• Someone saved me when I was young. I aspire to be like that person.
• I'm looking for someone or something important.
• My parents are forcing their expectations on me, and I don't want to disobey them.
• I have no friends. This is my last resort.
• I want to improve myself and this is good training.
• This is the only way to atone for my crimes.
• The horoscope told me it would be a good idea.
• Someone suggested it to me and I was like 'why not?'

Each mission pays, but you get about 50% of the profit and the rest goes to the guild.

Still alive! Just in the middle of a very busy weekend. I honestly still don't know what it is I want to play though. Tossing around a couple of ideas and may just end up using a random number generator to pick.

Edit: Zorua or Zubat are current odd-on favourites though.

Either of those would be interesting, but we already have a dark type in the team. So Zubat would be better if we wanna be diverse.

As a meta-comment on Zorua, you will have a lot of defensive and offensive overlap with storyteller, both of you being dark types (although you have the option of going special), depending on how much you care.
The predominant trait, Illusion, also does nothing in the campaign setup unless you ask for an alternative ruling.
I really do like the Pokémon though, and considered choosing it for a limited period of time.
Interestingly, Zubat is good against Bug, Faerie and Fighting, three types that Dark is weak against.

Anyway, I'm going to go with Snorunt, with a short-term goal of getting a Dawn Stone, because that thing looks so goofy, not to mention being generally lackluster in several areas. I assume I can't start out evolved, if for no other reason than the prevalence of normal moves during early levels (although there are other ghosts, so who knows). I also fully intend to get Magic Guard when that time comes, because Hail (and Snow Cloak) sounds like a chore and the Last Resort things are entirely offensively oriented.

I am perfectly fine with Snorunt. I would suggest Glalie as your evolution if only for STAB Double Edge/Explosion, but I'm not gonna force you to do something you don't wanna do, mang.

Explosion really doesn't sound all that enticing for some reason.
Also there's a reason Glalie got a mEvo and it's not because he's a fan favorite. He can't even evasion hax with moody in this game.
btw garren, if you like bats, then noibat is pretty cool. Although he's not on the wiki. Also you can have Outrage as an egg move :DD

Double Edge was supposed to be more enticing because it doesn't cause your death.

Also, a note: As an Ice Type, the northern continent would be more of a home for you, because there are snow-covered mountains up there.

Also I suppose my mother is a Jigglypuff, because Cofagrigus doesn't make OTP material. Unless it has to be my father. I've never bothered to learn breeding rules.

Nah the Jigglypuff could be your mom. They swapped the inheritance rules for egg rules around some after gen four.

In fact you're parents wouldn't even be limited to Jigglypuff/Yamask depending on exactly how twisted your family tree is. You could also have Castform and Spritzee (though both would require very odd grandparents).

Basically breeding is a terrible labyrinth you should never enter unprepared.
