Another point: I can sorta see the bj dealio, but a, thats really the only point I can see, as regarding the gore, there are hundreds of Magic cards that get linked here, without NSFW tags, that are even gorier... and b, at that size, will the average user really be able to pick that out and be "aww man gross looks like a bj"? Doubt it.

Just to add my two cents (which is probably worth a tenth of a cent up here considering I'm a normal user; I'm pretty sure only the mods don't have to pay taxes and ohmygod this is a stupid metaphor): I can tell this about the image at that size:

Dessicated bodies
Innards all over the floor
Sitting corpse cut open from sternum to pelvis
Nails/spikes driven in to sitting corpse's limbs
Sexual positioning of both sitting corpse and laying corpse

I'm willing to hear that I missed the target on some of that, but unless you can prove that I missed all - or all but one - then your argument that most people couldn't tell what it is is invalid.

I'd also argue your point of "but we have Magic cards that are just as bad." Yes, there are some Magic cards that are gory, there are some that take one of the aspects above and take it further than that image. But there's two things working in their favor: 1. being a fantasy setting, the gore is typically removed from the human form, applied to creatures that are already quite deformed from Homo Sapiens; 2. as far as I am aware, no Magic card takes all of the aspects I listed, or even a majority of them, in one image.

A lot of older MtG cards could be found that have similar art style ... especially considering that 90% of the blood and gore cant really been seen at this size even though they're clearly visible in the full image. Like the head on the right hand side, at this size you actually have to pay attention to notice its there. However... even at this smaller size at a glance it jumps out as "zombe blowjobs" and theres no real way to crop that out and still preserve the art.

I understand its not the same thing, but have you considered the 'censored' album art? It doesnt have the same feel to it, but its easily a decent avatar that I feel no one would have the ground to stand on if they tried to argue it.

Sapper: The censored album art doesnt have the same feel... but if it is decided by the other mods that it is "too inappropriate"... it might have to do. Either that or "Aske" by Burzum. I like that one too.

Yeah the gore level is probably acceptable, but the sexual positioning is what pushes it way over the line.
