Hey CKY, do you need or really want somebody to go recover Philosopher Scepter's diary? Is this important? Or is it not a big deal if it's put on the back burner of priorities in the giant mega archiving-everything-interesting-before-Wizards-stops-hosting-it project?
I'm willing to do this sooner (rather than later or more likely, never) if you can tell me what subforum the ICDs were posted in, what the thread titles looked like, how to find it, how to tell when I've gotten all of it and can stop looking.

It's fine: the diary is not especially important to my plans. If you really want to recover it, the diary is spread out across ICD threads in the Wizards and NGA YMtC forums. The threads are all titled "CKY's Fool's Gold: ..." It starts from Day 1, when Philosopher Scepter first receives word of the outbreak; I went on hiatus sometime during Scepter's capture by Natos Cruciatur; and I resumed Fool's Gold ICDs on this website around July 2014. The last thread is the one that spoils the mythic rare, Fool's Gold.

Updated with the complete People and Factions.
EDIT: And some segments of Culture. If you desperately need to know how tall you are in authentic Solphosian alchemical units of measure, here's your lucky break.

So tempted to go full on Kevin over your "misuse" of the term "philosopher" (Good times, right? No?). Only posting this incriminating post will keep me from coming back to do the dead with a MUP.
*"To YMTC it up" means to design cards that have value mostly from a design perspective. i.e. you would put them in a case under glass in your living room and visitors could remark upon the wonderful design principles, with nobody ever worring if the cards are annoying/pointless/confusing in actual play
So I'm writing this on my laptop. GUESS WHY. Also would it be okay to use Solphos as a counterpoint to a very unSolphosian character and have the story be about rejecting all those Solphosian things? Also you owe me a new monitor.
[*]Papilia dea Symphonia (planeswalker ) female human artificer Papilia is an eccentric musician planeswalker whose face is always hidden by a brass mask. She hails from the artistic plane of Listesso, but the exquisitely machined clockwork orchestras of Solphos have struck her fancy. Now she has settled in Kardiapolis's artistic circles and is rapidly building a legend of her own.[/*][/list]
Was Listesso that arts based plane people were making on the old forums? I remember that. Unless it isn't, in which case I do not remember Listesso.
Does the Philosopher's Gold have any special properties outside of Solphos? What about Orichalcum?

The apocalyptic properties of philosopher's gold were confined to Solphos during the Golden Reckoning. The presence of Auric Avarius also seems to animate the gold. Other than that, it's indistinguishable from normal, if somewhat impure, gold ore.
Orichalcum is nonmagical. It's just a really great super-metal that is malleable and yet nigh indestructible.
"The Esoteric Society of Fabers A coalition of community-minded artificers... or something more? Color identity: Established: One year ago Insignia: A hammer and calipers Motto: Omnes renascentur - "All Will Be Reborn" Uniform: Aprons and work tools Allies: The Philosophers' Cabal Enemies: The Fetterless
The Golden Reckoning was the apocalypse to end all apocalypses. It left Kardiapolis and the other periochs on the brink of collapse. To that end, Philosopher Cestus the Forger envisioned a grand rallying of engineers and sculptors - a Society to span Terra Munda, a Society that would rebuild Solphos and remake civilization stronger than ever before. So began anew the Great Work.
Today the Fabers are a thriving guild, with close-knit ties and familial appellations that bind its members to one another. But as Philosopher Cestus has grown more reclusive, the Esoteric Society has grown more occult. Its activities are increasingly hidden from the eyes of the uninitiated, and the constructions of its members are increasingly thick with hidden meanings and strange symbolism. The Solphos known to its people may not be the Solphos the Fabers plan to build..."
Let's wish them good luck on their Great Work, where all will be... reborn...
