Nothing in particular is a problem, and I didn't have anyone in mind (or particularly care who does it to be honest). Someone just made a joke that that particular subforum didn't have one, it turned out to be true, and I thought it would be a good idea to ask I guess.

Can we have the ability to hide forums so I won't be tempted to click the off topic room when I am bored?

If it's subforums, I'm game. I would love to have the option to hide everything above the DOTP section over in ye olde Magic the Gathering section.

In the "Search within" section of the search options on the search page, could it be possible to select more than one option?

Ah, Razor's just sour because all his base got blown up. Not sure what to think of a dancing banana smilie. It's amusing, but does it do enough to warrant the clutter?

I tend to agree with Razor. Smilies should be useful for conveying meaningful information or context. The dancing banana...doesn't. At all.

And so people say to me, "How do I know if a word is real?" You know, anyone who's read a children's book knows that love makes things real. If you love a word, use it! That makes it real. Being in the dictionary is an artificial distinction; it doesn't make the word any more real than any other word. If you love a word, it becomes real.

In hindsight, there are several qualifiers I probably should have included in that statement. :-P

thanks!

Fixed!

Wow. I spent way to much time on that.

Is there a no parse tag? I'm trying to format a table full of cards and some of the cards have the "|" symbol in them, which understandably makes the table misbehave a bit.

Also — how difficult would it be to code a variant of the table code which required manual bbcode entries for each new cell or row? Something like table=manual. That way I could nest tables and quote blocks a bit more easily without worrying about using paragraph markers and stripping out |s. Obviously if it's a pain, no big deal.

How about a "block user" function that actually blocks the user? I still get the yellow icon stating that there's new forum activity, but when I follow it I just see that it's content I'd rather not read hidden behind a spoiler. The feature just isn't useful in its current form.

The few people I have blocked have ended up getting banned, so I find little issue with the feature, but I can see how eliminating the whole "new activity" from blocked people would be desirable.

Could we get a scared smilie? We have :shudder: and :panic:, but nothing that really conveys horror.

wasn't there one on old wizards with someone cowering behind their shaking arms?

Also, it'd be nice if every time I logged on, a synthetic morgan freeman said "Good morning Lilan."

EDIT: This one Image
