Come on guys, this is never going to end if everyone takes over a day to pick! I can understand that sometimes you're unavailable for a little while, but if you post on this forum while it's your turn, but still don't pick, something's wrong...

I think the best way to speed it up is to skip your turn and start playing as 7.

I usually get butthurt when people have real world obligations and can't post in forum games too.

I don't know what kind of obligations bun has. I don't know if it's something that was unexpected and she had to leave in a hurry, or if she knew about it ahead of time. I don't really want to know either. In the future though, if someone has an obligation that will prevent them to pick for a few days, it would be really nice if they could give us a heads up on here, if at all possible.

I mean, no one's expecting you to post on an internet forum right before you rush a loved one to the hospital or whatever, but if you're leaving on a business trip or you're going camping with friends, it would be appreciated if you came here and said "look guys, I'll be off for a few days, be back on Wednesday".

Hell, maybe we could even have a 3rd party to whom we could leave a list of picks while we're gone.

Again, I'm not trying to single out bun or anyone else here. Just trying to avoid this kind of situation in the future.

That's really not true at all. I got tired of checking thirty times a day, and wait until someone posts that it's my turn, or I see that it is almost my turn. I went a stretch of posting for everyone and was told not to worry about it. So I stopped trying to push it forward and resigned to the fact this is going to take a year to do.

That being said, filobel is right, and bun really should have told someone her picks. But it's not that big a deal. We'll just wait a couple days for one pick as opposed to wait a couple days for three picks.

News from bun?

She posted in the magic general forums a little while ago, so I hope she'll be back to drafting soon. I intend to crush some nerds, and I won't let a stuffed rabbit foil my plans.
