You... or, any M:EMber, at this point, can just put it up early.

I'd like to put "To Spin The Void From Straw" up for a vote, and have it listed as Public and In Use.

For the record... I know a couple of these would be better fleshed out in pencils (jinsen and marie), so if they get shot down on that accord I would be looking forward to revising them in pencil.

Also for the record- I don't consider myself an "active voting member" yet, because I can't spend enough time on a computer yet to read whole stories. That should be changing soon, I just need some time to pay off my library fines.

I'd like to put my plane Solphos up for vote, as well as two of its native planeswalkers, Lumina Revelaris and Auric Avarius.

Hello, and welcome to the M:EM side of the boards. Nice to meet you.

We usually like to allow pieces to be up for discussion for a little while before we actually put them up for vote. Nobody has had time to read and comment on your material yet, or to make suggestions for strengthening it or fixing any mistakes that might be present. I certainly appreciate your enthusiasm, and if my time allows, I will try to look over your material tonight, but it might be a bit early yet to start thinking about the voting process.

Of course, that call is not mine to make. I'm neither the M:EMperor nor the Archivist, and if you really want this to go up for vote in this coming week, that is a possibility. But in the past, I have found that material that goes up for vote without going through the ordinary review process tends to suffer from the decision.

Hello, it's nice to meet you too!

First off as a quick aside, I've read the entirety of The War of the Wheel and immensely enjoyed the narrative. (I'm a huge fan! :P)

Thanks for the heads up on how the review process works. I'd greatly appreciate any feedback and hope that the character/story will be to the community's liking.

is it too late to request a vote for this week? if not I'd like to request one for A Dying Wish. if so, I guess I'd like to request one for next week.

  • What kind of work it is: short story
  • The name of the author or authors: razorborne
  • What its status will be if accepted: private
  • A link to the work, or a copy if it’s short enough: link, copy:

Yeah, Luna made a voting thread for you here. It is up for vote this week. We always start the voting week on Sundays, so we were just waiting to create the voting thread until then.

Actually I would have made the thread within a day or so of the request because I don't like voting threads posted on Sunday, but I was and still am suffering from a bout of listlessness and general unwillingness to read and post, ultimately stemming from a series of nights of bad sleep. I'm not even voting right now and have no plans to.

Thank you, I've made a voting thread for that and it will be included in the coming week of voting, starting on Sunday, the 29th. (People are still free to read and vote on it, but it won't be stickied until Sunday at which point it will be included in the mass PM that goes out.)

Title: The Why
Author: Brentain
Status: Public
Word Count: 845

The Why

This work introduces the River pattern to Aubedore, later seen in The Weight of a Soul. This version has been changed slightly from the original, partly in response to comments there.
