So, first off, I wanted to apologize for not getting to these sooner. My day job has been taking up a ton of time, and after spending 10+ hours a day in front of a computer it's been a bit hard to motivate myself to spend even more time staring at a screen. The end result is that things here don't get done in a timely fashion. Sorry...
Don't apologise! We're so happy to have someone so responsive and enthusiastic about our dumb feature requests. Thanks a bunch! :)

Truly; in the day and age where most suggestions/feature requests get filed into "Maybe we'll add these into our next rollout or patch. If there's enough demand. If it wouldn't be a problem with the coding. If we feel like it.", having someone who will respond so eagerly and quickly is very refreshing and appreciated, even if not all of us say it. Keep on keepin' on, my good Welder.

Could highlighting the text in your post and clicking the "card" button make a {c} tag instead of a {card} tag? It would be convenient for converting them into {nc} tags. On that note, is there any functional difference between "c" and "card" tags? Just curious.
Tabs displaying the topic are a great idea! Right now though, using Chrome, all my tabs start with "View topic" or "Post a reply". Could they just start with the name of the topic instead?

isn't using the code button, then going back and adding the 'n's more work than just typing it up in the first place?

although I'm also curious if a difference exists between [card] and [c].

Don't have time to fix the titles right now, but I can answer that!

[card] and [c] are synonyms, as are [nc] and [ngacard].

Slightly niche request, but I would like to be able to click on the "Who Is Online" link at the bottom of the thread on more pages, instead of it just being available on the board index page.

Could you lengthen the box for selections in "Search in forums" on the search page? It's pretty easy to scroll past things as is.

We humbly request that the backslash be implemented into the forums.
We wish to make a Zoidberg.
Zoidberg requires a backslash.

Observe:
(/);,,;(/)

works fine for me.

weird, it works fine in previews.

also couldn't you use a capital V anyway?

(V) ;,,; (V)

1. I had never seen it done that way.

2. (Directly follows from 1.) I am not an imaginative person.

3. There are obviously going to be other uses for a backslash. Thus, I will still request a backslash.

llll

Lack of backslash functionality wrecked my Christmas tree! The holidays are ruined!
Also the spacing is all messed up. That might be from putting it in tags though.
test

Anyways, I just realized that underlines are always black. Not really sure if they should change colour with the text or not.
Also, underlining spaces doesn't work. I can live with just underscores though. Threw off the proportions in my tree art, but there's a good chance it will never matter again my lifetime.

Not there either, it seems.
It's often used as an escape sign in programming languages. I would guess it's for MySQL.

Seems like I was right.
If I edit the post above, and save it, I get a MySQL error, now that I'm no longer escaping the backslash.

Welder, it seems I found a bug.

This is doable, but a little obnoxious, and like razor says isn't it more work to click the button, click in the tag it makes, and type an 'n' more work than just typing out the tag?

There is not but there probably should be.

Looking at the backslash thing now.
I believe the backslash issue should be fixed now. Let me know if there are further issues. :)

Here is a single backslash: \

maybe just add a separate [nc] button?

Can we get a dedicated moderator for the off topic room?

We've had dedicated mods for the OTR in the past, just not currently.

Are you requesting that someone currently on staff be assigned the section or that we find a new recruit specifically for that area? Maybe either or?

Anything in particular driving you to make that request? May wish to take up a conversation with one of the moderator leads via PM as this thread tends to mostly draw the admins over the moderators but I'll also make a note in the staff area for them to look here.
