I see several logical flaws here...

Raleris needs help interpreting an ancient scroll, and Larasa Farleth is the only person who can help. Which is unfortunate since Larasa gets entangled in a hilarious romantic folly with Raiker Venn.
Poor Morgan...and Larasa...and Raleris...
Quote:
In the Roasting Rat tavern on Jakkard, while drinking, Nasperge gives an Aubedore reading to Larasa Farleth in the "Crossroads pattern."
For the corners, he draws the Bird (inverted), the Poet, the Servant, and the Wanderer (inverted).
For the spokes, he draws the Knight, the Smith (inverted), the Wall (inverted), and the Oasis (inverted).
At the Crossroads, he lays the Orphan vertically as the destination, under the fate card of the Temple, which is horizontal.
Larasa Farleth is very confused about its meaning.
Well, I'm no expert at Aubedore...
... but I would say this relates to Larasa's apparent romantic folly with Raiker. The inverted bird likely refers to the cuckoo bird, the origin of the word "cuckold." The Poet obviously refers to Venn, the servant to her responsibility to her relationship with Morgan, and the Wanderer to her rejecting that responsibility. The Knight from the Bird indicates perhaps a desire to romanticism in her cheating, or perhaps it's some sort of defense mechanism because things were moving too quickly. The Smith indicates that she's hoping to make something with her new relationship, the Wall from the Servant shows that she felt constrained in her relationship, and the Oasis represents the break or respite she feels. However, her true destination card is the Orphan, which very likely represents Morgan, orphaned as she was from their world, covered by the fate card of the Temple, which is likely a reminder of the time she and Morgan spent in the temple in Shang Rasoul.
So...a happy ending, I think...

Mel, buddy, you've GOT to stop tying pyromancers to the leylines!

A thousand years ago, the Dual-Walkers, Syl and Chardis, host the Amphiseum Games, and watch a planeswalker battle a vicious Pegasus Barbarian.
I'd get tickets to that.

It's happy hour at the Running Ogre tavern on Zhiran's Academy, and Raiker Venn , Syl of the Dual-Walkers, and Terina are carousing. Suddenly Maral, Celestial Wright arrives in search of heroes to save Keter. Who will rise to the challenge? And can Maral be trusted?
This raises SO many questions. Why does Zhiran put taverns in his Academy? Why are either Raiker OR Syl there? Why is Terina hanging out with them? Why is Maral the one you're worried about? So many questions.

I did not see that coming...
