As someone who knows all the pieces, I think it looks like a splendid guessing game. But again, I know all the pieces.

Chaos, thy name is Mown. I'm at work, but will post IC later tonight.

These spoiler blocks are killing me.
Which is probably not fair to say. Poor garruk.
Ignorance is bliss, I suppose.

Since its a campaign with a lot of darkness, there'll probably be a lot of them. Especially if you're splitting up. :P

geez, I wasn't even a run action away.
I actually like the theory of splitting up on pbp games though, albeit not with only 3 players. It provides a faster pace and a more natural flow of interaction.

Quick post up, and a pretty big clue of what Ruck and Puck are, I think. Actually, I'd be impressed if people didn't guess it right at this point.

I mean, I still think that Puck is a familiar, and the only noteworthy thing you said lends credibility to that theory.
But there's quite a selection of classes that can get a familiar, and I don't know of any familiars that has tremorsense, much less one that fits inside a glove or hand.

There's that Wand of Summon Monster II again.
Are your Beetles celestial or fiendish?

Aside from that, what is the policy on sblocks? Are all of them off-limits, or are some of them used more contextually. There doesn't seem to be an FAQ on posting practices. When it's stuff like "Actions" done in plain sight then I'm not really sure.

Oh, right. I always forget. Celestial.

And my personal take on sblocks is that they are meta-game knowledge. So..... read at your own risk?

And here I was hoping for fiendish. Well, it's probably a good thing that they aren't. For a multitude of reasons, three of which are Rabican.

In that case, I'll try my best to abstain, since I'm trying to not look at my own rolls whenever appropriate as well.

I keep them vague enough that they're not spoiling everything if you look, but yes, they're metagame knowledge.

So.... spider drawn carriage, dead driver, and tunnels that seem to have been enchanted to mislead us.... wonder what's gonna come after us in the dark now...

Also, Mown, I think you're hiding rolls from yourself a little /too/ well. It didn't roll correctly. :P

I must admit I was a little worried of that outcome.

I considered getting Undercommon, but it felt like metagaming too hard for something that made little sense for my character.
So I learning myself Necril instead...

Anyway, Teq. I don't know your preferred GM style, but if you want to move things along faster, then I don't mind you doing my passive rolls. Sense Motive, Perception, even Saving Throws if you'd like. iunno, it's up to you. I can try to keep a compliation of bonuses for easy referencing if that is an issue, since they're likely to fluctuate a little.

I actually missed your roll on the last page, and I'm writing a 10 page paper at the moment. So kind of juggling how I want that handled. Is the pacing currently too slow? I can try to up it a bit, if that's an issue. Hard to gauge what level of autonomy people want to interject things into a given scene.

I won't rush you, the pacing is fine. Besides, I don't think it's possible to accomodate for my activity level.
Generally, I don't think there's much I can do about passive rolls. Only thing that comes to mind is Hero Points, but I sort of like being kept in the dark. Unless you want me to be paranoid by making me roll perception, in which case, keep on. Like I said though, do whatever you find preferable. You're the GM.

I knew most of my skills would involve summoning elementals and other creatures, so my languages your character has probably heard me use are Common, Ignan, Aquan, Terran, Auran, Aklo, Undercommon. I needed them so I could communicate to my summons, and after the elements, I took Aklo since it should cover anything remotely intelligent I summon since it covers "otherworldly creatures." Undercommon was because it had the word "Common" in it, so I figured since I had grabbed all the languages I needed, I might as well go with the next "Common" language.
