His voice is sounds like it'd be nice, except it's being butchered by the synthesizer. Which is really an example of one of my problems.
Of course, this is compounded by the fact that the excessive synthesizer is something I find gets grating very quickly, so I'm probably not a very good judge. Still, as synthpop goes, it's not terrible. But, meh, this is the closest thing to synthpop I've managed to enjoy.

Guys should check out that album later. That song is awesome and it's probably the least awesome on that album. Heart is my favorite but it wasn't on youtube.

No, he can make noise. He can't sing. Rob Halford can sing. Tony Kakko can sing. Marco Hietala can sing. What the singer for MT did was noise. Which really is a shame, their instrumental work was quite nice.
No, you're wrong; on multiple counts, and here's why.
A) The singer for Tales of Medusa has a great voice, even if he's not necessarily on-key most of the time. It fits with the raw, unpolished, do-it-yourself ethic to the music, which brings me to another point, that music is about more than just technical skill. It's about ambiance, atmosphere, and the ethos behind the music. You sound like every other member of the 30s-40s generation that talked about "that wretched devil noise" when metal was first taking off in the early 70s.
B) Rob Halford is about as good of a singer as Tales of Medusa's singer. If you hate one you have to hate the other, since they are on-par, vocally skilled. And I know what I am talking about. I have heard bootlegs from gigs he did that you probably have never heard. Gigs that weren't even with Judas Priest.
C) As I said... next you'll be telling me Quorthon from Bathory is not a good singer, simply because he cannot hit 100% of every note ever. Which if you did, would be wrong.
Cyclone Joker is right. Neither the dude from Tales of Medusa or Bathory can sing. I don't particularly like Rob Halford, but he can sing. I like plenty of artists who can't sing. Like Neil Young and Bob Dylan. They couldn't carry a tune in a bucket, but I like them anyways. Just like Quorthon is **** abysmal. Feel free to enjoy him, though. Also, hitting notes 100% of the time is what makes a singer a "good singer", regardless of whether you like that vocalist's voice or not. It's like guitar tone. A **** guitarist can have a good tone, and a guitarist who has awesome technique and is tight as **** can have an awful tone.
