I feel bad that sometimes this adventure moves so slowly, because encounters really become very interesting after the forth level. It is not that there aren't good encounters until there, they are only less common.

You are very close to a great one in my opinion.

To climb the rope, it is 2 athletics checks, one for each move action. Only they are very easy ones.

@Rstnme: Hey, I want to see what we can really do! More nuked zombies the better! Though I might just show a little rage to something else as well... *Stares at magic crossbows*

Is there a, like, stone on the altar? or is it just a marble shaft with a shiny red head?

:nonono:

It is an altar with a base of stone. That is the stone that shines with a red color, its own body. At the front of it, there is a golden deformed skull fixated to it.

Can I do both now or I need 2 turns to climb the rope?

You can make two moves per turn, which means you have a chance to achieve a whole success this turn. Or maybe not...

@Shockwave

Just to make things more interesting, roll an athletics check for Du'tok to keep the rope stable.

Well, that will add drama to the situation. And I was willing to allow Du'tok to be able to pull Dairon out if he rolled high enough. :|

It is a hit, but it is not destroyed. You can proceed now. And I will make the official results in one post.

Edit:

@Rstnme

There is no place inside the tomb that you can hide from the turrets. Part of it is 1 or 2 feet outside of the rock wall and the bigger part of the mechanism is inside the wall, but it uses the adjacent square for aiming purposes.

I'm not sure about my current situation. Am I still in the rope?

Still on the rope, but now with swing, missing 5 feet to clear it. Only one move action and other check. ;)

Yeah... That 1 I rolled as Du'Tok (even with Memory of a Thousand Lifetimes) didn't help things much...
