A few of my decks I've completely reworked in light of our new tri land overlords. Sometimes adding 2 or 3 off color cards to the mix thanks to odd mana that I'm using for what I see as the better removal.

This leaves me vexed as let's take my abzan list for example, in form and function it's the same deck but a bit more refined.
But with my new resources I've added a color (3) Ground Assault

Would you guys say a list as mentioned belongs here or in a four color thread?

Ps. Awesome reimagining of an already awesome deck Hakeem

If a spell requires mana of a certain color to cast, then the card is that color (e.g. Ground Assault is both red and green). Post your deck in the thread that contains all of your deck's colors.

As a counterpoint, Resounding Thunder is a red spell, not green or black. You can activate an ability on the card by spending mana of those colors, but the spell itself is just red.

I went with the Grazing Gladehart over Lone Missionary because he can block a 1/1 and live. It's also reusable lifegain. As for the Elixir of Immortality, they're usually doing 5 or 10 points of damage when they get played.

If you want to pick a card that triggers Sanguine Bond, pick one that actually does something. Elixir doesn't do anything.

Lifegain mooses are valuable parts of the strategy. As for early blocking, I would suggest Lone Missionary over elvish visionary. Also, suffer the past. It's amazing when you have a sanguine bond out!

I say drop grazing, run missionary and add in seance to the mix. Then you can drop the elixers, have bodies attached to lifegain, AND recur lifegain after usage. With seance you get extra lifegain and draws.

All right, based on all the feedback and the limited amount of testing that I've done, I've decided to only slightly modify the original deck. I was so impressed by Obelisk of Alara and I liked the synergy with Angelic Accord so I warped the deck around it and added trilands which meant that Saruli Gatekeepers had to be cut. This was a mistake. Here is the list with just a minor tweak:

I've taken everyone's advice to cut one copy of Saruli Gatekeepers for a copy of Séance, and I've cut three Wall of Omens for two Elvish Visionaries and a singleton Obelisk. The Obelisk is still a strong card but instead of warping my deck around it, I've just included a singleton for value. The blue and red modes aren't supported, but all the other modes are excellent in this deck. The green mode can turn even the lowliest critter into a threat or a huge blocker, the black mode is insane, and the white mode is very good on its own and bonkers with Angelic Accord in play.

Thoughts on this adaptation?

Watch the games then check the decklist at the end. I'm famous. :)

Also, a big shoutout to an XBLA player who watched this video, recognized the decklist from NGA, and sent me a message letting me know about it. Pretty cool stuff.

Hakeem what do you think about how Force played your deck or how he didn't credit you for building it?

I don't mind the lack of credit because he didn't explicitly claim credit for himself. If I didn't want people playing my lists, I wouldn't post them. The truth is, I'm honored that he took it out for a spin to showcase it.

As far as how he played it, the first game was fine except for a few things like only Cultivating for one land. In the second game against a creature deck I would have opted to use Treasured Find on Planar Cleansing rather than grabbing the Demon to tutor up Accord and start building my own board. He also derped a bit with the Obelisk in this game but he recognized it. I thought the video was great, actually.

However not crediting anyone else implies that you made it yourself. Especially since almost all of the other decks Force made himself.

I get why people would or could be upset about it, but I'd rather he showcase my list and not credit me than not play it at all.

Again, I post my lists in case people would like to play them. I'm glad he did.

I credited you in the comments on the video! Not that it makes much difference. :P

Look at last week's FNM, he played your Naya beatdown. The week before that he played my Sultai infinite combo deck before I changed it to Skulkamania.

Uh, for what it's worth I've been almost exclusively using your builds since Duels 2013, Keezy. I tweak, here and there but the changes are usually minuscule, and they're definitely your build overall. But I don't really record or post any of my matches. I'm planning on doing so, now that I'm playing on the XBone, but I'll credit you in the videos, if I do end up uploading them.

Also, currently I'm utilizing the Monkeem build, and it's much fun, but I'll probably switch back to this, for variety for a bit in the future. I do enjoy Abzan.

He used my Naya beatdown?! I gotta check it out!

EDIT: AWESOME! I wonder if he ever did one on End of Days.

He was using the older variant of the build. I feel it does what it wants to do even better now that I dropped angers and put in some buffs.

I literally changed all my decks. I rolled a 20 sided die. Which ever it landed on.. I switched out the first two cards for Obelisks. Hakeem builds are 2strong. Now he's taking them all out :( I've ahd times when I've herped when I should have derped using Hakeem's decks.. Always a pleasure to play his decks.. bad mana cycling is usually my opponents wincon against me..

The only change I made to Hakeem's deck is to put in one Suffer the Past. It gets life, can finish at instant speed and more importantly gets rid of annoying graveyard threats. The only decks that I lose using this build are a nut draw of gobs/boros or decks that use warstorm/seance combo (which I've weirdly been seeing quite a few of on xbox). A single Suffer the Past shuts down any Seance shenanigans and spider spawn decks to boot.

Pretty much everything in the deck gives you value in some form or another and either stalls in the early game, or helps hit land drops to hard cast fatties.

Chump blocks/trades are offered up freely early on to help fill the yard.

Stall the game out until you either:

A.) Get Seance to stick and proceed to bury them in value until you win.

B.) Hard Cast one of the decks bombs, almost all of which gain value even if instantly removed, and get recurred over and over again by Dead Reckoning/Treasured Find/Gravedigger. ETB effects mean they can even be brought back with Seance in a pinch for their ETB effects.

C.) Draw/mill the 1 of Spider Spawning and bury the opponent in tokens.

Deck has plenty of toolbox creatures for different threats/matchups.

One of the most fun decks to play that I have created. Plays and feels sort of like a less consistent Pod deck.
