EDIT: From what I've heard so far, they're a bit more laid back and less aggressive than what I normally listen to. Nice change of pace, with a certain classic metal feel.

And that doesn't mean you can't be completely right every now and again.
They've got some good instrumentals, but their singer can't sing. Or, more accurately, he can sing but in most of the songs I've heard he refuses to make anything more than glorified squeals and other miscellaneous unpleasant sounds. I'm just sayin', when I hear a song and think "Wow, this would be made much better if that guy would shut up," that's not a good thing.

Also, they sound vaguely reminiscent of Symphony X, so that's kinda a turn-off.

back when I was 14 years old on the internet I was self conscious of it and really keen to appear older than I was, so I tried desperately to use proper grammar and capitalisation to make my posts look more sophisticated. (it still didn't really work because only a 14 year old would actually hold the opinions that I did) that is kinda the vibe I get from your posts

also it's difficult to imagine someone liking symphonic metal and not being 14

First off, I really don't see why I should care about your posting patterns two months ago or whatever. Second, if you honestly believe that a basic mastery of the English language is indicative youth or immaturity, then... words fail to describe the sheer idiocy of such a statement.
