as an aside the players in m y PbP game have a clue..but have yet to ask the right questions...

I know - kinda sad I never really got a chance to flesh him out as a character. But the game wasn't doing a great deal for me and was steadily falling lower and lower on the priority list. Figured it better I bow out rather then slow everything to a crawl why you all wait on me to do stuff.

Do not worry I will play with Issyl this encounter and kill him at the end of it to open space for another player. The problem will be to find one.

Does this mean I should kill Lucian too?

Seems like, unless there is a yes/no scenario in my game, my players don't post until there's combat.

No. Lucian shall live. I've killed a couple of my characters off specifically so that I shall have the time to be more active in the remainder - my intention being to get back into the swing of posting at least one post in each game each day at bare minimum.

Have an opening in my campaign; sadly, Neosilk will be unable to play consistently. Tovar will be missed.

Sometimes I just enjoy the crazy stuff players can come up with how to handle a situation!

After reading more of the 13th Age system, I am totally willing to participate in a game. It looks like an improved version of D&D 4th that favors both combat and RP, easy rules, interesting mechanics and monster, and very adaptable.

The rules have even a version that is exactly like my special version of the skill challenge for D&D 4th, almost carbon copy.
