"Very well then, one last offer...one with coin attached to it. A simple 'yes' or 'no' yields 5 gold... Was the other buyer a woman? Elven perhaps with a scar?"

"No, now please hand over the coin and go" She answers holding out her hand

"No vendors... Fine. No reason I can't have a drink," the dwarf said to himself before walking through the front door of the cantina. He took a quick look around inside for an empty seat, preferably near a window. Or someone to direct him to a seat, whichever came first.

You see a table by the front window,it's empty, as you sit down you notice the menu in a holder on the table. The menu reads the following :

He mulls over the menu for a while, before remembering he was on the job. Any good job included a cover needed should he get discovered. His mind wandered back to his days as a smith's apprentice to his own uncle. He could still remember how his arm felt after hours of pounding iron against the anvil. He rubbed his left arm, his hammer arm thinking of those times. A smith was always a good fall back identity for him. He let his eyes wander across the room for the woman he was following.

Norston then waited until one of the Catina's staff walks by and waves the person over. "A small order of Apple stuffed Mushrooms and some Whiskey please,"

"I'll take that as a 'No' you won't answer my questions civilly," Mirella says, "and your establishment is not good enough for the services I would give," she adds as she leaves.

Once out, she'll notice that Norston is gone and see if there's any sign of her other companion.

Colt walks up to Mirella and says "Well find out anything?"

Norston let himself relax, if only for a few minutes. It wouldn't do for him to be seen as tense, if discovered to be following the elven woman, a lesson he took to heart about casing someone from a former employer. Seeing someone wound tighter than a master craftsman's hilt wrap only begged the question what had them on edge. And if questions started coming, it was just another oppertunity for a hole in his story to be found.

He decided to open up a bit of small chat just as a way to loosen up. To the person nearest himself he said, "What do you think of this weather we've been having?"

Colt looks around before speaking to Mirella "Remember the Lily is owned by the guild, so it may have been to get rid of competition ,as for Norston I saw him heading into the trade district

A man turns to Norston and replies "Well, I've seen worst and i have seen better."

"Guess I'm just fretting a bit. Worried a shipment of raw materials won't arrive to port in time and it'll affect profits. Too close to closing shop and selling as is," It was a lie of course. He would have been given his uncle's shop if he had stuck with it. But the thought of it not being legal to strangle local thugs that had been hassling it did not appeal to him, so he took a few more hands on jobs about twenty years ago as he learned a new trade.

"Don't mind me, just looking to relax and avoid smashing a finger to a useless mash from nervousness,"

"What ship would that be, you waiting on?" The man ask turning full around to face Norston

Norston feels a twinge of guilt for not paying more attention to the ships that his uncle used to get his shipments from. He also feels an itch to reach for a glass that hasn't arrived quite yet. Guess I can just make it up...

"A small ship called the Treva. Smaller vessel my friend told me about. Guess they got a contract to be one of the cargo ships for a recently opened copper mine, very pure strain. Makes things smoother for some of my baubles that these craftsmen just seem to love,"

The man nods as Norston's drink is brought to him. Before the man can speak someone behind shouts "Hey Fred, let's go back to work."

Fred stands up and says "Nice to meet you,have a good day." Fred then heads out

Norston raised his glass a whiskey as a farewell wave to the leaving Fred. Hopefully I don't have to do a repeat performance, but still a friendly enough person. He took his first sip of whiskey, letting it rest on the tip of his tongue before letting it swirl to the back of his throat with a gentle burn on the way down.

"Hope what's her name doesn't mind me having a second lunch," he takes a bite with a pleased grunt as he looks back over towards the bar.

Mirella ponders waiting here for him, but her impulsive side wins out. She silently sets off for the trade district.
