Also, suggest criteria for the next development round. I figure we do one of these every few days and vote on them just like before. Does that sound good to everybody?

Lightform Ballastade — Enchantment Creature — Spirit (U) Other enchantment creatures you control get +1/+1. 2/2
Soul Crush — Sorcery (R) Target player reveals his or her hand. You choose a creature or planeswalker card from it. That player discards that card. Mastery—If you control an artifact, a creature, and an enchantment, choose any card instead.
For the next round, I think we should make a card that makes Green midrange playable. A Vengevine-esque creature for four mana that's hard to remove, wrecks house, and threatens Bahraz.

Forced Memory Loss — Instant (U) Additional cost, exile a card from your hand. Target player reveals his or her hand. You choose a non-land card that shares a type with the card you exiled. That player exiles that card.
Aspect Diviner Creature - Human Druid Whenever an enchantment enters the battlefield under your control return all enchantments that share a name with it from your graveyard to your hand. 2/3
Exploit Weakness Sorcery If target player has discarded a card this turn, look at that players hand and choose a card from it. That player discards that card.
Should I be suggesting criteria based on CKY's suggestions in the other thread?
Perfect originality is overrated and often ugly. The best and most beautiful cards I've ever seen were clearly inspired by something else. Cards are not entirely unlike living organisms in this regard. All the good ones are a result of long evolution; the 'original' ones are either mono-cellular or mutant aberrations.

fixed? Mastery needs to hit way harder than it currently hits; it needs to add voluminous impact to cards.
Essenceshaping chorus master Enchantment creature-Human cleric(R) Vigilance Other enchantment creatures you control have +1/+1 and vigilance. , sacrifice a noncreature enchantment: Put a 1/1 white cleric enchantment creature on the battlefield. 2/2
Sever memories sorcery(U) Look at target player's hand, you may choose a card type, that player discards a nonland card with that card type. Mastery-You may cast cardname any time you could cast an instant if you control a creature, an enchantment and an artifact.
2. Tear Consciousness Sorcery Target player reveals all but one card from his or her hand and discards a non-land card of your choice revealed this way.

1.CKY Dudibus has some neat synergies. CKY's card is really cool but I think the activation cost might need to be raised to . In the end, I went with the one that I think could make enchantments a real player in constructed. Dudibus' card has build-around potential, but lacks oomph. Nobody else stood a chance.
2. Parad K_FM - Neat idea, but it would be safe to just discard the card instead of exiling it. Heck, I would let it target any card type that you have in your graveyard. Flopfoot - Cool, but I think we're looking for an early game discard spell. Not really sure though myself. Hello World - Not a bad discard variant except for the mastery effect. Instant speed discard is one of the most powerful effects in the game. You know why Chimney Imp costs so much? Because it can be used as instant speed discard. Mown - Not sure if this totally defeats the point of the criteria or is the most brilliant entry here. I'll play it safe and vote for somebody else.
*"To YMTC it up" means to design cards that have value mostly from a design perspective. i.e. you would put them in a case under glass in your living room and visitors could remark upon the wonderful design principles, with nobody ever worring if the cards are annoying/pointless/confusing in actual play

CKY takes 'em both.
How do you guys want to proceed with development? Sorry I've been AWOL the past couple of weeks. Do you think we should open the color threads back up again and do it like before?
Also, we need to decide how we're going to decide which cards to cut in order to make room for the cards we make in development.

Sure, the color threads would work.
Duress slots in cleanly over the existing 1cmc black common discard slot. Scintillating Champion probably goes over Brenem, Light's Shadow, a random Angel that isn't really doing anything for the set.
