What I was hoping to do on my turn was to load one and use an action to Hide. I was going to try and basically hide behind the wall looking out the door. Is there any issue with this in terms of actions? I would still need to wait till next turn to attack but would then be hidden.

I think we'll play on without Bounty Hunter for now. I have a way to add him later, albeit without the memory loss issue to bind him to the group.

One light comment, PHB has it that weapon attacks from prone have disadvantage. Technically the only weapon this would not be true for would be crossbows (where you would nearly have advantage) but that is getting complicated and I know it. Otherwise, I would put him in the prone unsupported for the shot.

Also, do you have the stats for the weapon? Are they the same as a heavy crossbow or are there tweaks?

My goal is out of some DM's advice article somewhere: try to say "yes" as much as possible to keep the players happy. If your request isn't ridiculous, I'll usually go for it. Any disadvantage you'd get would be from lying on your back and shooting up. If you were on your belly with elbows Down and crossbow supported shooting at advancing enemies, no disadvantage.

This crossbow does 2d6 but has a one action reload

Very reasonable, I just found it funny the way that it worked for every other weapon. Obviously, for example it couldn't be reloaded while prone and I have no real intention of going prone at this time for a 1 shot snipe. Is it possible then for me to have both loaded and then hidden myself or was it not? Please let me know so I can know if my last post needs reediting. Also, if I am basically, just moving over to line up a shot, can I see anything? Shot would be taken next round if reloading was permitted.

Your action is fine as is. I like to keep things moving, and I feel like with the cover you have, it should be fine

I'm guessing everyone is delaying for now...I'll post tonight assuming that unless someone posts otherwise in the next couple hours.

Does this name ring a bell with any of our characters or is that dependent on Religion Check. Because if so, this could get ugly, please let me know since otherwise I will have to not metagame and post the turn I originally planned...ouch.

Okay, so the structure is three walls and a cliff face forming a quadrilateral. The golden doors that the wolf rider came through are in the cliff and opposite of that is the front gate, which was barred from the inside before exploding in? And we are in the towers where the side walls meet the wall with the front gate?

DS: yes to all! :hand:

Belisarius: Good.question! As he says Moridan, the word comes to you with all it's meaning...the god of the dwarves and formerly that of the race that becomes the giants. You can't recall the names of other gods yet, though you know there ARE more...

In the end he decided that trying to kill me means he should defend himself. Also, he will wait till the group outside gets inside before he goes running out like a target to join them. Now let's have fun. His target was one of the two guards on top of the gate, specifically the one on the far side.

Is it possible to cross from one tower to another via the walls?

Okay, I just did a synopsis of the situation as I believe it currently is. He cannot see the dwarf on his own tower but expects him to still be up there. As it is, he could use some assistance here. He would prefer not to have to solo fight this encounter regardless of how awesome that would be or how distracted the GM rules the opponents to be.

It looks like people got busy, bored, or forgot...Still, we'll mosey on. If anyone drops out, we'll play with who we have.

I'm still here! I'll try and get something up tonight but my internet is acting like ass for a reason I can't seem to figure out.

No worries. We'll just say you're at the end of this round now...

Since nothing has been cast that requires a round count, you think of the new turn order as:

Ming-Na and Merroda (whoever posts first)...technically part of round 2
Corinne...top of round 3
Maulim (sp?)
dwarves

I would have to count turns but I would definitely be at least top of round 3. I don't think I have outrun everyone else but please let me know. Also, I may have to change battle plans so I will check in about 8-10 hours and probably post IC then.
