With regard to Silvanus being Vaeca's deity, right at the start I mentioned I wasn't sure if it would fit, but went with one I was somewhat familiar with that with nature based. I kind of want Vaeca to be more of a shaman type though, thus mentioning animal spirits etc. More being in tune with nature itself and the spirits of the plants and animals etc. Is there something more like this in Dnd that would fit?
And I realise Sandal didn't see the action, but Vaeca was being attacked and defended himself. Nothing macabre about that. Once the deed was done he realised that if Klarg was the head honcho the goblins might crumble if the group could act intimidating enough. In Vaeca's mind the body is dead, so the spirit is gone, so it's not desecrating it. Though I did (and still will IC I think) want him to recognise Klarg's stature as a warrior, and give him some type of respect for that last action.
But the main thing was using one death to avoid potentially many more. Use the head and hopefully not have to kill however many goblins or other things are waiting down that tunnel.
I am enjoying the friction though and really liking the story and group interplay. Again, well done everyone!
Also I think I mis typed while on phone and tried to end up in the water. But just wanted to be out where the goblins saw Vaeca so that's cool.
Computer time is hit or miss these days. A new one should be on the way soon but this is the islands so definitely on island time...
