Any updates on making [img height= width= ] work in sigs? Or any indications it can't be done?

Since it's height is 120 and its width is 240, I should be able to do that. However I am using the height and width tags, so my tag looks like [img height=120 width=240]. For some reason or another, the signature box refuses to accept this, saying "Your images may only be up to 120 pixels high."

Am I doing something wrong, or if I'm not is this something I can request a fix on?

Here is the original post, for more details.

No. It does not work right now.

Oh, I see. Sorry about the misunderstanding. Does it work as expected now?

Sure thing!

Spoiler

The syntax is not quite what you specified (0 -> +0, initial loyalty doesn't have the ='s), but it's for good reason. :)
Thanks so much!

For those of you with the AdBlock extension on your browser, remember that you can right click on an image and choose to have it blocked automatically.

That way if someone has a flashing image or something in their signature that you dont want to see, you can block it without turning off all signatures.

I would like to make a public statement that, because of my own displeasure with my own signature, I have, for some time now, taken to only attaching my signature once per page (except in the uncommon circumstance where I make multiple posts on the same page which can fit the signature without extending the size of the post synthetically). In some fora, such as here, I don't even attach a signature because it's quite non-attached to the community in question. There is no accounting for other people's inconsideration.

Just a reminder that if you feel a user has a disruptive image in their signature or elsewhere, please let the mods know, either through PM or by reporting a post. Otherwise, we won't necessarily know there's an issue.

Also, if you want to continue discussing signature-related things, could we please move it to another thread? It's no longer on topic in this one. (Also, I get an email whenever anyone posts in here ;) ).

Thanks!

I remember on the old old mothership boards (the Vb one, I believe) you could click on the reply count to a thread and it would open up a window showing you who posted in a thread and how many times. that seems hard to implement and not a particularly important feature, but I just found myself missing it and figured I'd bring it up as a nice thing to have. if it could be done with views too that'd be even better but I don't know if that information is logged.

Could we get a link to NGA Gatherer/Oracle/Rootin' Tootin' Card Seachin' Plugin available from the Header similar to the wiki?

Sweet!

We needs a snappy name for that though. I'm partial to rootin' tootin' card search plugin, but that is only eye rhyme.

How it works to have the best of a die roll?

And is there a way to stop animated avatars? I hate them and I don't want to suffer seeing them.

That second one actually sounds like a good idea, if it's possible using the forum's software.

Also, I do have to point out that "Card Search" is kind of unintuitive since my first thought upon seeing those words are a Gatherer-like searchable database. Maybe "Custom Cards Search" would work better, if you don't have some punny name to give it like razorborne suggests?

It isn't though.

I was going to recommend just using adblock, but it doesn't look like that is possible.
I don't actually know of anyone else with animated avatars, and I haven't received any complaints for mine.

Just tested it and it works for me. Of course it would only be while I'm on this computer.

Right click an image and select 'Block Element'. It can be used on someone's avatar, an image in their sig, or even animated smilies and the like.

Sorry, upon rereading, I realize I wasn't making myself clear.

I mean, if it is possible to integrate using the forum's software to have an option for each user to be able to display/block animated avatars at their own discretion; like, a single On/Off switch for whether a user is shown animated avatars. I don't have any issues with anyone's avatars currently, but if such an option were given to users, I think it would be a good idea to integrate it.

I understood what you meant Luna. I just haven't had the time to go hunt down that particular answer yet, and Welder would be more the one to speak on it.

I did respond to Mown though cause I know that the adblock does in fact work.
