So, for the path I wanted Rey to go down, he was going to take the Groomer class ASAP. But the class requirements include two contest ribbons. How will this work, Ragrio? Do I have to do the contests or are we going to substitute them? if I gotta do the contest, then Rey will show you all why he calls himself Mister Stylish, Dammit... PhD.

Chill, man. Is Absol an okay starter, by the way? I know that in the games themselves Absol is awesome, but I wanna make sure he's not too good.

I think absol is just a bit to strong for a starter, but you'll probably have a chance or two to catch one in game. They are attracted to disasters...

Backstory: Jay was born in Viridian City, and is a new Pokemon Trainer. Jay was born under the name of Shuichi Minamino, and he was born with psychic abilities, such as Telekinesis and Telepathy. However, he could not control his telepathy at first, and thus, every thought he made was projected into the minds of others and he could uncontrollably read anyone and everyone's mind. At 12, he ran away from Viridian City and went to Saffron City, declaring it his home, knowing that the gym there specialized in Psychic types. Upon arriving, the large amount of people in the city drove him crazy, and he hid in an alleyway until the day he finally learned to control his abilities, which he eventually did. While in Saffron's back alleys, Jay came across an Eevee, and the two of them became partners. He gave the Eevee the nickname Cider, as something about the Eevee reminded him of the beverage. Upon learning to control his Telepathy, he left Kanto altogether to venture into the world. He decided his first stop would be Johto, to train his Eevee and to hone his abilities.
