Not strictly better. Far from it in fact.

I would like to draft Jeskai Charm. +1/+1 lifelink is good as well as reach and locking them into a draw.

I had an opportunity to draft Dead Drop, don't remember what I picked instead. If I had the Drop it might have helped me against that Jeskai guy who had three Weaponmasters in his deck (we drew since it took us the whole round to play exactly two games. I won my other matches 2-0 against mardu players). Here's my deck list.

How relevant was Altar of the Brood?

I won most of my games with Wingmate Roc. (There's actually less removal in draft than in sealed). The Altar was there as a backup win condition, but it never actually killed anyone. One guy conceded to it when he still had a bunch of cards in his library as he could see that I had control of the game.

Atm, I want the unrealistic draft dream of drafting a charm deck.

I drafted KTK for the first time Saturday and I ended up with a couple of Ankle Shanker's and one Mardu Roughrider.

The Shanker's were pretty sweet, they turned a stalled board into chaos really quick. I ended up 2-1 before I had to drop due to another time commitment.

Dies to Throttle...I've had it in two sealed's, while it is undeniably good, its not as good as I'd hoped.

Villainous Wealth is pretty dang brutal. The format is either really fast, or kinda slow. I usually have it cast against me at 7/8. I drafted it once, but never got any support for it .

I've been looking forward to Kheru Lich Lord...finally got to see it in action last night, totally stole the game (although the guy got lucky, he was at three life with no fliers and I had three spirits. He managed to get Warden of the Eye on his first activation (out of 7 total creatures in his graveyard), pulled back Arc Lightning killed my spirits, and proceeded to take over the game.

That looks like a brutal list...how the HELL did you manage to draft that? (6 powerful rares!!! I need to sit with the people you play against!!!)

I've seen Dead Drop in more games recently...it is very effective. I can't believe I've been overlooking it.
