This is pretty roughly sketched out at the moment--there's no ascension story or really much in the way of a personality, just the hook and powers. At the moment I have other stuff I'm working on so if someone else feels like adopting and developing the character, that's totally cool. I figured I'd just toss what I have up in case someone's interested in developing them further.
Brega the Beastwalker
Brega is an ogre druid who wanders the planes finding incredible monsters and learning to take on their forms. Zie is a master of druidic transformation, and often takes on aspects of the creatures zie encounters to alter zir own appearance.
While broadly attracted to power, zie is also intrigued by strange and outré forms, and treats the process of transformation as a kind of found art, and a creative form of self expression. Zie also relishes the physical challenge of wrestling the beasts zie encounters--or other worthy opponents--into submission, though zie does not consider zinself a hunter so much as a fighter.
Brega has a theatrical and mischievous streak, and a certain romantic affinity for harvest seasons, which leads zin to spend much of zir time on planes entering autumn, often haunting the night like the fearsome monster zie resembles. Several years of such visits to particular planes have resulted in zir incorporation into some harvest festivities as a spooky and terrifying but ultimately harmless presence, and zie has, at times, taken action to protect the often isolated woodland villages zie visits from far more fearsome threats, earning zin a reputation as a kind of guardian spirit.
Zir history is largely unknown, but it's possible that zir penchant for transformation is a way of embracing zir own nature as a member of a race feared on many planes.
Zie is nonbinary and, in fact, does not recall, after so many transformations, what zir original biology was like, exactly.
That's what I've got so far. R/G nonbinary ogre druid that changes into various beasts, and likes spooking people at harvest festivals.
Needs fleshing out, obviously, but there's something here that I really like--the monster-as-queer thing, the more spooky and creative aspects of r/g... I almost want to find a way to bring in some old folk songs about wizard battles that involve lots of transformations (like the different transformation stuff in The Sword and the Stone/The Once and Future King, or the transformation scenes in The Box of Delights...) but couldn't quite figure out a way to work it in here.
Anyway, yeah, here's this character basically. [shrug]

Who are you and what have you done with Keeper! I DEMAND ANSWERS!!!
Anyway, assuming you actually are Keeper (!!!), this character is just in time for Halloween! Which I find hilariously awesome.
Like you said, though - not very fleshed out, but definitely intriguing. An ogre, too - so that's new. I like the take on shapeshifting, here, as an art form. Powerful, but non-violent (or at least, violent in non-harmful to sapients way.)
Like always with me, I would love to see a story, or at the very least, a more fleshed out dossier.
Yeah I'd had this character bouncing around for a while and then it sort of combined with the autumn weather coming on here and turned into like sort of a spooky halloween monster character...
But I also wanted zin to be not like Ashiok--not something totally inhuman, just someone that effectively loves putting on costumes and scaring people a little.
A goth, basically, in other words, I guess
I guess my issue at the moment is figuring out where to go with zin. I've got this kernel of an idea but not really a sense of what to do with it.

For the record, we have seen an Ogre planeswalker, and in fact, one is sort of ad hoc in the archives. He is, however, quite dead. (Dead Man 'Walking, if you're curious.)
Anyway, Keeper, there's not a lot to go on yet, but I'm interested in what we're seeing so far. Actually, I think the interaction with Lord Luna's new 'walker would be pretty interesting!
I think zie fits an interesting slot in the archives that could use a bit of fleshing out in general--namely, people who like to duel, or in zir case wrestle. We have a distinct need, in my opinion, for people who could be thrown into a Tournament Arc together, basically
Because there always needs to be a Tournament Arc.
Congratulations, this one will now forever be linked to the goth dance from South Park.

Interestingly......
I had an idea in mind for an ogre planeswalker called "Methinks", who kinda looks like a cross between a werewolf and Pumpkinhead, but with a more human facial appearance. He is semi-telepathic, and refer's to himself in the third person (ironically) when he talks to himself out loud about what " Methinks" about other creatures/people he encounters.
i.e. " Me thinks they will be afraid, this time"
If We combine this personality-ish trait with your guys shadow frollikcking tendancies.....
Kinda like... He's sensing the fear of the people he scares, but on such a deep level as to be telepathic.
Because there always needs to be a Tournament Arc.
Always.
...
O_O
This must happen.
...
Now you have me wanting that, too.
Anyway, it's good to see you creating, Keeper. There's not much I can say about the character, because while I can see clearly what you're going for, it doesn't speak to me personally.
