I see no reason why he couldn't. We probably want to take a rest anyway what with two of us falling in a pit of deadly poisoned spikes - and being mildly inconvenienced by them. I don't think 4E knows what lethality is.

I will get to them in time, but first I will go to the end of the corridor. But why I think I should take care now. :takei:

And unfortunately I did not pick any surgeless heal, the ones at low level are not very impressive, but later healing 4 surges at a time is pretty nasty without spending surges.

Alternatively, if you like, I can make your perception checks for you in secret for the entire hall. That would speed things up a bit.

But you would still have to stipulate that you are bothering to check every 5 feet, even if you did so in advance (eg. "I'm going to meticulously check every inch of this hallway. Let me know if I find something" *DM rolls 20 rolls in secret* "K, you don't find anything and you trigger all the traps," or "You found all the traps huzzah!" etc...).

Make sense?

That's why I don't like NPCs as a character by the way. I never trust them and everything they do is very suspicious.
