Thanks, that's the info I was looking for and couldn't find.

Was considering a short rest and casting something ritual...but don't really have any useful ones for this situation!

This means a quick patch up and good to go!

Island I tried to do a generic overview of Sune and her clergy for your skill check. If you wanted anything specific just ask me and I'll stick it on the end okay.

I am on sick leave, so I have time to post today.

If that scene doesn't give Sandal a inspiration point, I don't know what I can do, since I am using his personality and flaw cards extensively. Not just here, but since the beginning. This is just the culmination for now. I intend to change theses characteristics with time, using his ideal that is change, but the changes will be very subtle with time that the DM will not be able to clearly see them. That is a problem with Sandal's background. Some aspects of him, I cannot attack directly. His bond is also a difficult aspect to attack.

I will try to change his flaw later too, so I don't need to keep harassing the other players, for the more specific detail I wrote at his sheet. But for now, I need to keep generic and continuing the harassing at least until they know each other well.

He is mostly a tragic character. That's why I tried to lighten the mood earlier and I will try again when the opportunity arise. It's not fun to have only tragedy all the time.

Edit:

- Argun:  That's exactly the type of line that makes him lose points with Sandal. But Lordfluffy continue to do that if it is your character way of thinking.

- Vaeca:  Now appeal to his faith is a excellent card. Vaeca just won a friend.

And don't worry with Sandal, he has Healing Word. The spell doesn't state that he cannot heal himself, so he probably can heal himself. (I am starting to believe that they don't specify some rules on purpose.) But he is just discovering his powers and he doesn't know how to use it yet. But when he get alone, he will be able to use it and follow the others.

Argun's not exactly a nurturing sort, I don't imagine. He's used to dealing with battlefield injuries and he's direct in his line of thinking. From his perspective, one of the people who his life depends on right now and who he has sworn to defend just threw a tantrum. I simply couldn't picture him taking it well. :)

On a related note, concerning my Athletics roll... poop.

I think the characters are all great! Sometimes I'm getting genuinely frustrated IRL and then I laugh. It's the whole point! Have a clash of personalities that somehow (hopefully!) gets it all together.

I think the goblins are the least of our worries. Did anyone spec therapy?

Haha. Well Vaeca's had lots of conversations with himself while living as a recluse. That might count.

Holy cow. I've just spent all day helping a friend look for his dog who ran away yesterday. I live on a small island and it's really tropical and idyllic, so it was mostly enjoyable. But damn at a few points we were tracking her footprints and I was wondering what kind of bonus I needed to add to the d20 for Survival. At that point probably a +6 because it led to finding her! haha

Well, if it was clear skies and daylight plus soft ground or firm enough sand to leave good footprints, I'd say you were looking at a DC15. Now, were you acting particularly like yourself today? If so, you might have had inspiration and been rolling with advantage....

I think I was rolling with advantage! Honestly, some of the walks through paths people seldom use put me very much in mind of our party following the goblin trail. I was definitely in druid mode. haha. Found her tracks on the beach after tide had gone out, so got some good prints!

I just want to point out, for PCs and DM both, that Booker is out of sight further up the trail already.

Just a note I finished the editing to Vaeca's background. When I started I thought he was going to be a recluse type getting used to society again and drinking and indulging to enjoy himself, but he started off talking at the Inn and never stopped. More like one who spends so much time alone they can't wait to talk to someone (and not a tree or a badger) again just to hear a different voice.
Also with the dark thoughts surfacing at points too.

Yeah, pretty sure everyone did everything possible. Maybe Garren was busy yesterday.

Pretty much this I'm afraid and I have a fair bit I need to do tonight. I'll try to at least get something up so people can get posts and the like done but I'm not promising anything. At the very latest we should be rolling again tomorrow. My sincerest apologies for this delay.

Edit: It's up! Figured I'd get it out of the way now rather then later.

Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: Trap.
Zoë: We goin' in?
Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: Ain't but a few hours out.
Hoban 'Wash' Washburn: Yeah, but... remember the part where it's a trap?

No worries Garren! IRL obligations come first. Appreciate you running this for us. It's really been getting my head into 5e, I've been reading and watching podcasts and lamenting the fact I can't play it IRL. This is a great intro though so thanks!
