So that should be 10 damage to each zombie, not 7. My dyslexia kicked in and I reversed a 5 with a 2 (1d6+2 and not 1d6+5).

Honestly we should've retreated to the doorway and let them come at us two at a time. But there's a propensity within this group to charge into the unknown :party:

Anyway, I think I just killed one.

I am correcting a small error, I did last turn. Du'tok suffered 7 damage. The zombie rolled a 11+6 to hit his armor that is 16+1 for bloodied, it is enough to hit.

So Du'tok 7 more damage. :bigeyes:

I took the liberty to move Du'tok one square to pick the axe. No problem, Neosilk?

It's not on the map but I should get +2 to my AC until my turn.

@Felbatista

You can use only one skill check per turn, so you need to choose one. And you must determine the exact path Dairon took.

@T_B

My path was E14 -> H11 -> H10

I'll use my Arcana check first, and would like to keep the other rolls for future turns, if possible and necessary. Are there any rules preventing me from doing more than one check per turn? Because I was searching exactly for that and couldn't find anything, and that's why I made all possible rolls.

Normally you could do as many skill checks to acquire knowledge as a free action, with the option of the DM being capable of restraining the amount. I just reinforce what would be otherwise an optional rule for the sake of reality. I prefer to be realistic when possible. So during a fight a person is not able to do heavy thinking while busy fighting, hence just one skill check per turn. But if you choose to forfeit your move and standard action, you can make as many skill checks as you want, since you would be temporally removed from the fight thinking.

I hope that makes sense to you, because it does make sense for me.

I understand what you're trying to convey, although I don't exactly agree, mainly due to the way I see what knowledge checks are. For me, they aren't like a math test where you have to stop, concentrate and come up with a solution. They are more akin to a phone number. You either know it or you don't, and that's what I think what they were trying to portay in the rules.

But hey, no problem either way.

Clearly debatable my point of view, but just to use your way of thinking. Sometimes you know a thing, but it is too tired or busy to use it. And remember each turn corresponds to only six seconds, to solve a math problem, depending of the problem, would require more than one turn. So the way I see, your way of thinking meshes very well with my way of thinking, I just prefer to treat it differently, probably more realistic.

Yeah, I know, it's fuzzy. Just trying to explain my point of view.

On phone. This is just a reminder that it is Dutoks turn.

I'm guessing the aberration went north? Behind the pillar?

I'm asking bc it seems like either Marek or Dairon should see it unless it's in N11 or somehow slid noiselessly into the water.

I should have been more clear at my post, but ,yes, north. To where I cannot say, but remember that light is centered on Marek and the pillar projects shadow as a cone from the Mareks position.

@rstnme

Roll a perception check, please.

Edit:

Ok, not necessary, moving on later.
