About the set-up, it all started for trying to solve the lurkyness of the Paranoia paradise forums, I wanted a game with no vanillas and after a couple of hours I found a cool one:
http://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?tit ... Idea_MafiaThis one, unfortunately I explained it badly to JD so he believed I wanted to do a closed setup with predetermined roles.
I started working at it, and wanted to keep at least for some players the possibility of choosing their alignment so I made neo's role, to fit a mafia team of two players in a game without vanillas I gave them a 1 shot bulletproofness to benefit from the SK more than town and a extra NK with a drawback(Zherog role, the vanillizing role was supposed to cancel the targeted player role(except maybe elijin's survivor role) but I forgot to mention it).
I also keeped the investigative roles to a minimum, while putting some easily confirmable roles to simulate cop results.
I tried to make both of the more vanilla roles(Zinger's and lilystorm's) being like informed townies to make them contribuite to the thread and stop them from lurking, they also could have helped the town by stopping the fear of cult, second mafia faction or whatever.
Elijin was mostly a slight drawback to town since even the one shot fruit vendor's message was pretty shady, especially if only sent once.
The masons could sort of confirm town themselves in thread to each other thanks to the cop-miller combo plus the possible cop and the possible frendly neighbour and nobody else being a mason, but that would have made everything a lot more clunky(and they would have lost the chat)
I can't remember how confused's role came to be, maybe it was the one that originally found out if a player had a third party win condition(I cutted it to give neo some more breathing room)
Gob_O scarlet was the doc, I wanted a protective role of some sort in the set-up due to the number of deads.
Garen was also supposed to limit the nuber of nightkills, I tried to make sure that he would use the roleblock the day that zherog had the extra nightkill, by giving him enough shots to last until he was most likely dead and only affecting mafia, but it didn't work.
True_Believer was mostly there for informing town when lylo/mylo was since there was a two players mafia faction, plus some shenanigans with switching his double vote or pretending that the vote was removed permanently at the cost of a on demand charismatic/permanent vote thief looking a bit more scummyish.
Altimis was to save the town from a early power role lynch or a lucky mafia nightkill(bodyguard)
