His deep, primal understanding of business economics leads Pacone to assume a "nod" means "whatever is most expensive", so he gets behind the counter to prepare one of the house specials

You don't look like the kind of stranger that simply stumbles upon a place like this...

*mixes*
...I don't mean to pry but...

*concocts*

...may I ask what sort of fortune brought you to this corner in the multiverse?

*stirs*

Leaves the fizzy drink before the Bounty Hunter, adding a battered paper umbrella as an afterthought

She sends a weak smile at Chance, If you wait here for a moment, I'll go on ahead and send one to pick you up for a closer look.

Slightly perturbed by the fact that a household appliance is smiling at him, Chance gives a nod of acknowledgement and settles in for a long wait. He steps back to lean against the wall. Just then, a squish can be heard.

Huh?

Chance examines the underside of his boot. Plastered all over it is a very large, very messy and still-smoking dragon dropping.

NOOOOOOOOOO-

The door bursts open under the weight of an immense foot - followed shortly thereafter by an immense figure decked in animal hides and bones, topped off with a wide hat that appears to have been trampled a few dozen times. Surveying the bar he reaches to his belt and hefts a brutal looking axe - before turning around and embedding into the wall behind him. Hanging his hat on the axe-come-coat rack he strides over to the bar and takes a seat in front of the perfectly legitimate barman.

"So. Is this it? Hmm. Expected more."

Eyebrows raised high, Pacone's eyes look at the improvised coat rack and then to the unfortunate halves of the undead pigeon caught in the way, wriggling on the floor, trying against all hope to reattach themselves

*mutters to the huntress* I can tell this one expected more of this tavern in regards of clothing storage, for a start

Welcome to our humble home, mighty warrior! May I offer a tankard of our black ale? Thickest you've ever tasted

While Washer cleans the dragon roost floor, the heavy beating of leathery wings can be heard growing ever nearer. From the distance a red form hurtles forward, preceded by a mighty roar and a rush of wind. With grace belying his size, the great dragon Rorix himself lands before Chance. With a snort and a disdainful eye he swings his head to indicate that he is to be the chauffeur this evening. Attached to his back is a small note;

'Please keep all arms and legs inside the vehicle during flight - and away from the mouth. The Hero's Club accepts no responsibility for loss of life or limb in transit or within the dragon roost. Please find enclosed evacuation procedures and complementary nuts and beverage, enjoy your flight!'

----------------

Tiggil stops chasing the birds to wave frantically at the new comer, before admiring the rather snazzy axe - complete with hat.

Chance tilts his head.

I expected more. What a disappointment.

Shaking his head, Chance snaps his fingers. A roar can be heard in the distance. The ground bursts into flames as all the dragon droppings simultaneously ignite. Then a Balefire Dragon crashes through the roof, crying in all its terrible glory.

Rorix Bladewing... I challenge you to a dragon-off!

Tiggil looks at Pacone, with a sort of confused surprise, Is someone who is not us putting holes in the wall?

Meanwhile Washer looks up from her cleaning and issues a resigned sigh.

----------------------

Not one to back down from a fight, Rorix rockets into the sky in a great gust of wind and fury. As he hurtles upward he sends a parting shot of his tail whipping towards Chance's skull.

rolls eyes
Send the goblin cheerleader squad to help with the rubble, and tell them not to stray too far, things will get dirtier.

Chance will soon learn why challenging a pitfighter dragon is a really bad idea

But they would be far better placed to cheer for Rorix! We art sure Chance won't mind, and perhaps we will get a shiny new head shaped ball to play with too!

Pacone watches amused how Rorix lands next to his fiery comrade, both of them staring at Chance with reptilian curiosity

The action had caught him in mid-sweep, so he shrugs and tightens his grip on the battered broom, resuming his absent-minded cleaning

Chance fails to react in time to the tail swipe.

THWACK

Chance's Balefire Dragon snorts at a man-shaped hole in the plaster ceiling where there had previously been none. The sound of indignant screaming can be heard from high above, growing more and more distant by the second.

Rorix 1 - Chance 0

Pacone winces at the sound, as bits of plaster and dust start raining down.

Glances at the floor, then at the straddled broom he is holding, then back at the floor

:ahem:

Washer looks around at the now sparkling dragon roost, enjoying the faint scent of lemon freshness. Pleased with a job well done, she goes to meet Chance and Rorix to complete the tour and give the opportunity for Chance to adopt his very own baby dragon. There she meets only a self-satisfied Rorix.

With a stern glare, the dragon sheeplishly flies away once more in search of Chance.

Well bored of brooming the floor, Pacone notices a vague scent of lemon

WASHER! you've got work to do here, I've got other matters to attend to

Tiggil, fetch the flying coalitioner, I don't think he will need his body in the short term :plot:

We think we saw Rorix go after him, so how about we prepare a nice surprise instead? Did thee keep the rack onhand by any chance? Tiggil grins toothily with a slightly more mad glint in his eye.

You've read my mind Tiggil, it must be somewhere in the basement, prepare the toolset and...

*eyes the stunned phyrexian*

...and make room to strap a second subject, go and be quick about it.

(OOC:Basement! That was the word I was looking for the other day)

Tiggil returns from the basement grinning broadly, while behind him bumping along the ground is an apparently simply wooden structure, that like many things in the club, seems quite apparent in being a Rack, but completely defies description with countless levers and buttons arrayed on the sides. An unfortunate skeleton seems to have been left in the contraption from its last use, which through bumping and jostling on various buttons appears to be having its teeth cleaned, eyes gouged out, and feed a small bag of complementary nuts at the same time.

Found it! Turns out the tigers art down there too, for some reason they didn't want to play fetch terribly dull! Thee might want to note on the next order for 'tigers that can fetch explosives.'

It was a long, long time ago that Pacone refused to make sense of Tigil's words, so instead he focuses on The matter at hand. The rack.

Grabbing the unresisting goblin by the arm, he drags him next to the rack, and proceeds to strap him by the wrist, before removing the unrecognizable remains on it

Tiggil, call Rorix back, this will be fun.
