Would it be possible to split off a subforum from the Constructed forum for NGA Constructed?

NGA Constructed is only cards from You Make the Card, not official Wizard's product.

Flopfoot posted an NGA Constructed list and the discussion in the plugin thread is starting to veer off topic. I figure we'll need a subforum sooner or later anyway. And as Mown pointed out, it's more active than the RPG section.

Edit: Also, Welder, I've decided to peg the plugin to a consistent update schedule. That way it isn't as much work for you to synchronize NGA Gatherer and the NGA Constructed plugin.

Maybe we can have a "Welcome to NGA" topic that introduces everything on the forum: the Magic forums, YMtC, the Expanded Multiverse, the Coalition Wargame, NGA Constructed, Three Card Magic, Mafia, the RPG section, and the Play-by-Post section? That way we have exposure for everything. I think the forum software allows you to pin a topic at the top of all forums. We could do that.

It does, but I don't think that a permanent Welcome announcement visible in every forum would be all that useful overall. A newbie might use it once, maybe even twice, but for almost everyone who wasn't visiting for the first time, it'd just take up a bunch of space with something that's of no value to them, and would also reduce the visibility of any other announcement we wanted to make by training users to overlook that part of the page.

I think if we decide we want something like that, there might be other tools that allow us to accomplish it more precisely and effectively. I'll have to look into things.

doesn't seem necessary if we just put things where they should go. then anyone interested in, say, magic stuff, will go to the magic forums and quickly find everything related to magic.

I have a request. I have created a whole bunch of icons; would it be possible to create a manacost fork that creates these icons?

The syntax I was thinking would be [pw]+3[/pw], where both the number or the symbol could be changed. In the sblock below I've included the list of icons and the text that the pw tag should convert it into.

Please let me know if this is feasible or not! It would be a huge help for YMtC. Thanks in advance!
