I'm not sure what you mean here since my character has only interacted with Rhasta in asking him to not move the wagon forward.

Obed waves at Rhasta as the goblin arrows appear from the trees, and he hisses, "Hey, chum, don't move the wagon into the way of the goblins' arrows!"

No arrows were fired.

Rhasta watches over the surrounding area as his companions dismount and begin to spread out. Two of them head into the trees south of the road and begin to creep parallel to the path towards the dead animals ahead. Squinting his eyes as he scans the two hills, suddenly a vision flashes before him, a moment of divination. Two grinning green faces. A sword and a bow. And an arrow the whizzes towards Tomi. He's walking into an ambush! There are goblins in the trees south of the road!

Was just a perception check flavored as divination. Easy mistake ;)

Oh, I don't read other people's perception checks in general. I was referring to the probable arrows of probable archers, like the ones riddling the horses in front of us.

The next in-character post is up bringing it back around to the party's turn. I'll be heading to bed soon but will try to respond to everything in the morning.

As a small request to the spellcasters since I dont have all the spells memorized yet. Please state whether you're rolling your Attack or the bad guys Save that way its easier to see what was a success.

*yawns and curls into bed*

Goodnight saviors of the Realms!!

BH, at which points can we walk up the hill? Like, I don't think we could go from P-8 to P-7 without climbing, but can I go from J-5 to K-5?

The hills add a bit of 3D to the battlefield but dont actually block or slow movement. You can run up and down the embankments fine enough.

Mostly there for flavor of the trail being a choke point and prime ambush location.

I'm sorry. I've been at work today and my internet has been bugging me for the rest of the day, so I couldn't get a post in after I forgot to do so yesterday :/
Anyways, I'll see what I can do now in the IC

No worries, hows everyone's weekends going?

Just a heads up instead of half of Wednesday and all day Thursday I'll be off all of Tuesday and Wednesday this week. So I'll be around pretty much all day both days.

@FeebleMeltdown

Just as a heads up, dont forget that on top of that crit you just scored you also get sneak attack since Damon is adjacent to the same foe. So on a crit you roll all dice twice and then add modifiers which means that you'll be doing 2d8+2d6+3 damage.

You've already killed the gobbo ...but feel free to roll for the funsies.

Home from work. Just waiting on NeoDaitou's post and then I'll update the in-character thread.

Oh lord, that is abuncha damage :D
Anyways, sorry, I didnt realise I have combat advantage/sneakattack on the guy.
Oh, and I did not know that crits are double dice rolls. I'm still used to D&D 4e, where you just do max damage. Good to know

Yup. Check out page 196:

Quote:
Critical Hits

When you score a critical hit, you get to roll extra dice for the attack’s damage against the target. Roll all of the attack’s damage dice twice and add them together. Then add any relevant modifiers as normal. To speed up play, you can roll all the damage dice at once.

For example, if you score a critical hit with a dagger, roll 2d4 for the damage, rather than 1d4, and then add your relevant ability modifier. If the attack involves other damage dice, such as from the rogue’s Sneak Attack feature, you roll those dice twice as well.

As a heads up, since the fight is moving sorta off the map... I've shifted it down a square or two.
