I have a half-dollar now, which is swankier than a quarter, but admittedly still not all that swanky.

I love half-dollars. They're swanky and pretty much the perfect coin for flipping for most folks. I've ended up with a bicentennial moon/liberty bell dollar coin as my go-to, which may be swankier still but is a little large. At least I'll never misplace it or mistake it for another coin.

That's cool. One of my former "decision quarters" was a bicentennial quarter. That was a cool minting.

I suddenly feel severely under-currency'd.

*wonders if he still has that toonie that the currency exchange wouldn't take back (grumble grumble) in a desk drawer somewhere...*

and then I reloaded the generator to see new results and it broke down :(

Huh. That's pretty weird. None of my testing ones are working, either...

I... kind of hate to mention what I flip now.
It's a silver cob minted in the 1600's and recovered from the shipwreck of the Neustra Senora de Atocha.

Really? Well, that's about the coolest thing ever. I don't know if I've mentioned it here before, but I **** love Spanish galleons. **** love them. They are, by a wide margin, my favorite kind of ship in the HISTORY of SEAFARING. So yeah, that's damn cool. Where'd you get that?

I was going to joke that somebody here probably had a denarius with Emperor Caligula's face on it to flip, but I think that might outdo it.

It was part of an auction my father attended. There were 10 coins in the lot, so I got 3 of them, along with a certificate of history. Has a little info about the ship and a little info about the guy that found the wreck.

Well, for the record, you are now even cooler than you were before, because of the things you have. Go Eisenhower's America!

(Seriously, though, that's awesome.)

Bwahaha! The Joneses will never be able to catch me now!

I actually do have a ridiculous amount of stuff and a surprising amount of it is pretty eclectic and noteworthy. Including an original Frazetta, and two giant banners from the release of Return of the King and the Avengers.

It seems to be working again.

Quote:
Denner Fabellian has grown suspicious of Raiker Venn and follows the other 'walker to Cridhe, home of the great World Tree, Ameran, and Keter. There, Denner realizes he made a terrible mistake.

Yeah, it was a mistake to meddle in Raiker's business.

Quote:
The Shifter begins traveling with Gruff. Can they stick together despite their differences?

:takei:

Quote:
Alessa Rehn has grown suspicious of Raleris, the Lorekeeper and follows the other 'walker to Cyrea. There, they both witness a strange event as Ellia the Endbringer has grown suspicious of Aria and follows the other 'walker to the continent of Aerona, Ihn Gallad, and Valjan. There, Ellia loses the trail. .

Nested prompts amuse me, especially when it happens to be the same one...

Quote:
The paths of fate have converged and Mari Gwynn interrupts a romantic meeting between Alessa Rehn and Raef because of a phenomenon known as Interplanar Tunnel.

I really don't think Raef would know what to make of Alessa...

Quote:
The paths of fate have converged and the Shifter converses with the Duchess because the Duchess is searching for The Inferno Amulet.

I legitimately don't know either, and I made both of them!

The Amulet really seems more like the Shifter's sort of thing. The Duchess would probably be happier with Winter's Heart... but then I feel like she might need to sing Let It Go.
.... shame that wasn't the "in song" prompt.

I'm just imagining the conversation between them.
Shifter: Why do you even want the thing, anyway?
Duchess: Wouldn't you like to know?
Shifter: Yes, damnit! It makes no sense!
Duchess: (gives the barest hint of a smile)
Shifter: GRRRRRR! This is cheating, you know...

While searching for The Darkmantle, Kimberley Talon was attacked by a Dwarf Advisor. Now, Kimberley is trying to figure out how it happened.

Kimberley: "I don't get it! I was looking up at...oh, wait..."
Also, is that a Dwarf who advises, or someone who advises dwarves?

Quote:
Syl of the Dual-Walkers attempts to explain where she last saw The Calling Bell to Alessa Rehn, but Alessa would rather talk about simple logic.

Syl: I just want you to go pick up this bell and bring it back to me.
Alessa: Listen, lady, I've seen the future. If I do business with you, you try to kill me. Ergo, I don't do business with you. This is simple logic, here. But hey, if you wanna mess around...

Quote:
Raiker Venn begins searching for The Inferno Amulet. But things are rarely simple and matters take a serious turn when Aria appears too. Now Raiker has a difficult choice to make.

Raiker: Hmm. Do I write "The Burning of the Screwed," or "The Fairy's Scream?" Decisions, decisions...

Quote:
Illarion Vale blindly jumps to Keter. There, he buys flowers for Mary Shaw and later offers to take his new companion to see the multiverse.

He said he'd return...

Aliavelli is under attack! Beryl, the Heart-Scarred must gather allies such as the Eightfold Lotus before it's too late, but Beryl is hampered when she suffers from delirious hallucinations at the hands of The Dentevi.

I think the Generator just spoiled the next chapter of the Aliavelli saga. Still, it would be cool to see her playing this part. It would be quite the Beryl role...

At first I just thought "hey, that's not a half-bad prompt", then I read your line out loud and just lost it.

A thousand years ago, the Dual-Walkers, Syl and Chardis, host the Amphiseum Games, and watch a Leviathan Rigger battle an intoxicated Whale.

that would.... that would be something to see alright.

Maral, Celestial Wright begins traveling with Mari Gwynn.

I... get the distinct feeling Maral will keep making My Little Pony jokes.

It's a high stakes game of cards on Zhiran's Academy between Kimberley Talon, the Duchess, and Lukas Harran . The game takes a sudden turn when one of them antes The Last of All. Now it's a game with deadly consequences if it falls into the wrong hands.
GEE, I WONDER WHO THE HELL HAD THAT?
Quote:
Mari Gwynn begins traveling with Maral, Celestial Wright. But they soon come to blows! Who will survive?
And I guess Mari didn't appreciate all those jokes.... Well Maral thought they were funny at least.
Quote:
Jakkard is under attack! Aloise Hartley must gather allies such as Aamir before it's too late, but Aloise is hampered when she is coerced by Rishima, Queen of the Black Sands .
For once, I have nothing to add to that.
Quote:
Beryl, the Heart-Scarred arrives unexpectedly on Jakkard. There, she gets in an epic duel with Syl of the Dual-Walkers, Vasilias, Lord of Ariva, and A Timmerian fiend
Ah... good to know the generator still has it out for her.
Quote:
Renn Winmoore interrupts a battle between Alessa Rehn and the Duchess.

Quote:
Beryl, the Heart-Scarred hides out on Regatha. There, she suffers from a parasitic dark hatchling at the hands of Rishima, Queen of the Black Sands, Vasilias, Lord of Ariva, and Phyrexia. All of it.
Hell, never mind, things can always get SO MUCH WORSE for Beryl...

Well, a large part of it is rne being intentionally vague. But what you say has bearing as well.
