Alright, I've edited my position on the map once again.

Also, on a side note, DAMN, I'm loving this already. The idea of the whole party getting ready for a fight just triggered something in me. :D

Tomi "Grin" Undergallows

Seeing as Rhasta "saw" that an arrow whizzes towards me, does it mean the goblins get a surprise round/attack on me? Anyways.

I assume it's what's going to be happening soon, not what's happening now.

Whys that? Did I put you in the wrong place? I didnt think I had messed with your token...

Aye, I'm excited to see how this group handles itself in combat. :D

Edit : Oh, I just read the IC thread and see that you're trying to move back towards the group. Cant do that just yet.... they saw you, you saw them, initiative goes out to see who acts in what order. If you beat them then by all means you can retreat, but if they win that arrow might become more of a reality.

I assume it's what's going to be happening soon, not what's happening now.
Rhasta's 'vison' was just a flavorful foresight as a way of saying his passive perception noticed the goblins. No one has technically attacked anyone yet, in fact time is frozen in that mystical vortex of 'roll for initiative'

Question: Is my telepathy two-way or can I only send messages to people without an opportunity for response?

Yeah, that's what I assumed, and exactly what I was intending with adding the observational feat. Passive perception mechanics the same, but it's more of a sixth sense that's being triggered.
Which also explains why his actual perception rolls are lower than his passive, generally if he's actively looking it's not including that sixth sense.

Though it seems DS might have taken it too literally. :V

According to Jeremy Crawford on his twitter its meant to be one-way:

@Dastion For the Warlock Old One Pact Telepathy power. Is it one way or two way communication? I read it as one, but others don't.
‏@JeremyECrawford The intent is for it to be one-way communication, but a DM could certainly rule that it's two-way telepathy, as in monsters.

I've placed you near the wagon in square E5. I just grabbed a random blonde elf from a pathfinder portrait for your token so if you dont like that one just let me know and I'll find you another.

No need, that token is fine!

Well gang... the goblins just rolled a six and an eight for their initiatives... so literally the entire party beats that.

It may end up being quite the slaughter of greenskins.

Initiative Order
The Party
The Goblins

Commence your turns!!

If I understand it correctly, I can move to J11 and make an action, right?

Yup. Squares are 5 feet.

That would be your 30' move and then you can still take whatever action you wish. Remember if you're attacking into the trees the goblins have half cover. ((+2 AC and DEX saves))

But on the upside you rolled a critical hit!

Oh, I thought the squares were 10 x 10 like on the Road to Phandalin map, but now I see that the google spreadsheet map has a different scale.

BH, do you want us to move our characters on the map ourselves? I may have missed you saying so in another post.

Edit: Good attack roll, worst damage roll. BH, I tried to see if I hit using the combat tracker but I think there is an error because even a 50 on the attack roll misses?

You're free to move your own token yes. If you dont, or if you forget, I'll try to keep the map updated.

Hmmm, it seems I may have simply typo'd something. Try it now?

Rhasta suddenly has another vision ... a divination in which truths of the multiverse are relayed to him: If the party did more than 1 damage to everything they hit, the goblins will die much faster.

Haha, that is certainly a correct vision

Oh, and on a side note
Quote:
He slashes at the goblin with his blade but the creature quickly parries and manages to deflect the blow.
I am currently equipped with a rapier, so I think it should be "Stabs at the goblin." Just a minor thing ^^

Most rapiers can slash as well. They seem like a pointy poll, but in reaility, theya re very very thin swords. Still are bevelled with sharp edges.

NeoDaitou, BH asked that we roll saving throws for the goblins to save time. Their modifiers are on the second sheet in the same spreadsheet that the map is on.

Though it seems DS might have taken it too literally. :V
I'm not sure what you mean here since my character has only interacted with Rhasta in asking him to not move the wagon forward.
