I was never a fan of Heart. It does not remove a threat, it just turns it into a blocker. It is a classic two-for-one in our opponent's favor. We use a card, and he gets to blank another one of ours with the card we played it on. I agree that Recoup is not that great, but Heart is actively bad.

Our main win con right now is burn their face. We don't care about blockers, we barely have creatures in the first place.

We can enchant our own creature and get a Fog Bank too.

most of our win cons are fliers, just play heart on a non-flier and it doesn't matter.
