So, Riovard, an old YMTC veteran, is revamping his set Velicta, which included such amazing stuff as flip card murder mysteries and a dragon mafia.

I point this out because this, like Solphos and Eldangard, is a setting we might want to scope out for inclusion in M:EM. (In fact, I think these are actually the original three that I definitely had mentally pegged as settings/sets that we should consider drawing into our fold. I can't remember if there were any others... maybe the stuff that one fellow was doing with purple mana? Nothing else springs to mind.)

Basically, this is worth keeping an eye on, I think.

Probably not. Unless someone wants to provide me with a ticket (or two; one for the event, one for the trip)...

Sweet. If they have a film version of "The Music of Erich Zann," let me know. I love that story.

They had a REALLY GOOD one two years ago. It was basically a faithful adaption in plot, though the setting was different and both the equivalents of the Narrator and Zann were female. Won the audience's award for favorite Short Film, too (I helped!). The adaptions title was "The Music of Jo Hyeja" if you want to look it up.

Sorry Aaarrrgh, didn't mean to steal your thunder! I've never been to a "serious" con like that, and they seem like they'd be really overwhelming, so I wish you both fun and the best of luck.

Top feature: Not one, but two classic Doctors.

Also, I'm going in Riddler cosplay (I already had a green suit, so it's easy to get the costume together).

That's cool! Remember to say "Riddle Me This" a lot. I love that bit.

That sounds awesome. I'll have to see if I can track that down somewhere.

What these two maps are telling me is that I need to research indigenous tribes and cultures of South America and create a plane based on them...

Also that we really like the Indian subcontinent -- I didn't list Adrisar's sections, but the Great Crater would circle India too.

I could theoretically put together a world based on Central African mythology, but... BLUGH.
That stuff is mind-bending.

Ellysium, should I ever get off my duff and finish it would grab some gaelic, english, and roman influences.
Ice World would grab Irish and Scandinavian with Chinese and Canadian touches.

I don't know that we'd be able to stretch that into an entire world. Could probably make a nice water feature somewhere though.

Now what I really want is a Madasgascar for our multiverse. Somewhere completely isolated.

Well, we do have Denner's home plane. The only thing we know about it is that the island of Sula is there. Maybe there are a number of isolated islands on that plane. Maybe all three are on the same plane. Also, Jade is from a place called Neira Island, and we currently have no idea what plane that's on either.

Clearly, we need a Waterworld...

Just, you know, good...

And without Kevin Costner...

Just to make things even more needlessly complex and interconnected, it turns out the sea isn't water at all, but is the oozes from I's homeworld!

I always pegged Ameran as more Greece than California but uh... that works pretty freaking well...

Also I'm back in Toronto! And I'm freaking knackered. Two nights of very few hours of sleep have done a real number on me.

Hey there, friends and neighbors!

I have been a wee bit distracted for the past month or so, which I regret. I've mostly had my hands full with work recently, and I haven't been able to read all the things around these parts which I've been meaning to read.

The good news is, these past few days have been pretty darn exciting, and I'm eager to share a little bit of that with anyone who's interested.

First off, today is launch day for Dance Central Spotlight. We're releasing digitally on Xbox One, and we also have a massive slice of Day 1 DLC as well. Our crack team of dance ninjas -- known internally as the "Call of Booty" squad -- has been dancing themselves silly over the last month or so to get things ready for launch. I am decidedly not a dance ninja, but I may or may not have been shaking my moneymaker for the good of the cause, in addition to doing *a lot* of paperwork -- which is much closer to where my usual talents lie.

Second, since I believe this crowd is more of a PC/Steam audience, you all might be interested in a cool little project which we announced last week: A City Sleeps. IGN called it our "anime take on Geometry Wars," which is not a bad way to think of it. We're hoping that it's a cool take on the shmup genre, and you can learn more here:

A City Sleeps Steam Page

Looks pretty slick Orcish, though I will admit I was mildly disappointed it had nothing to do with the song by MC 900 ft Jesus.

Anyways, I think I'm going to start working on artifacts again, but I will admit that my attention is somewhat drifting from the Armory.
I might do some individual entries, if people don't mind, but I really don't have many solid ideas right now. Mostly just conceptual aesthetics I want to work with.

By the same merit, I am curious how people would react to an artifact creature being developed as well. It's basically only an academic questio at this point but... *shrug*
