and then you went into the tangent about her video regarding the lego toys and this thread is about general video game news stuff, not an in-depth thread which is what i was suggesting be made regarding sexism in video games and the video game industry.

trappedslider, why would anyone ever want to rely on some internet user posting links in a subforum with <10 frequent posters as a source of videogame news when there's infinite websites dedicated to do that?

And by that I mean the discussions that were happening and you are trying to stop were actually the only hope of making this thread something worthwhile.

I see nothing wrong with a news thread where someone posts news links and those news links spawn their own tangents, creating a passionate discussion that people care about.

I do see a problem with a news thread where someone posts news links and then there's nothing to talk about.

I don't check news sites that often so this is nice for me.

I could open this thread on a toaster and it would have the same results

loading times are dependent on your internet connection, and since I don't live in scandanavia or seoul/japan, my internet sucks and I only get like 15 Mbps download.

Even with all the youtube embeds it loaded perfectly fine...from a cell phone...from a deployed location.

there is not an issue with the current amount of videos, but I don't dare open the music thread because it takes 30 seconds for the page to load because everyone posts embeds instead of links to my computer attempts to buffer 50 videos at once

This was a bad first impression on the Sega site. After looking at it some more after that..... just looks freaking awful. I mean....... I've played every sonic game not on wii. I'm that big of a fan, and this means absolutely jack **** to me.


I also am not really looking forward to Bayonetta 2. The first one was awful.


And Hyrule warriors isn't really Zelda anything. It's like if they gave God of War a Zelda skin and tried to let you play as "the best of" all of the characters in the series. The new Zelda in 2015 might be promising, but ......

Seriously. Who thinks Zelda and immediately thinks co-op beat-em-up?

I have no I idea what's going on here...

I'm personally looking forward to it. Mostly because I love goading sonic fan-boys into cries of impotent rage and the character redesigns are the most fuel I've had to do this with since Sonic 06 was still a new thing. Fun times ahead!

Also the new games in the CryEngine. That just bewilders me. What in the nine hells is this game doing that requires that kind of engine?



First one was okay if your looking at it from a strictly game play perspective. Shame the story sucked so hard it hurt.



Technically it's Zelda in a Dynasty Warriors skin. Honestly I'm surprised it took this long what with the amount of stupid things that have turned up in the old DW format.

Sonic 06 was a great game. You take that back.
