Just to confirm; the library we did out research in, the historical society with demon-lady and the town hall where the SUV's arrived. These are all different buildings right? We haven't been to the Hall were just witnessing this from across the street or something.

I dont know. For some reason in my mind the Historical Society was a branch off of the library or some how connected. I had the impression of leaving a few people in the library room doing research while whoever walked over to the H.S. I didnt realize that the journey may have invoved leaving the building and going into another.

I mean, I guess it doesnt really really matter...but you're the DM , help set the scene man! The more a player knows about whats going on the more they can react to.

I meant to have a post up on my day off but ended up getting sidetracked with other stuff. Now I find it several days later and still have nothing jumping out at me to do, I'll type up a quick little 'im still with the group' post, but the game has sort of ground to a slow point and Im struggling to retain interest. We seem to be bouncing around a bunch, and the both the roleplaying bits and the combat are short bursts sandwiched between a lot of either wandering or plane rides. Its sort of causing a lot of my posts to become redundant, and the chats with NPCs are usually quick and dismissive which leads to not wanting to invest a bunch in trying to talk to them.

Believer it or not but there is a plan and a reason behind the towns folk behavior, but i don't want to start combat when we're missing one or two players.....that's why i'm dragging my feet unless you and whoever else chimes says that's fine. I can NPC folks for combat, but i want to make sure those who are going to be here are fine with it.
